Bought two Soft shell jackets and two extra batteries for me and my father who work outdoors.
Overall it’s good, has some flaws and quirks.
Fit is good,
warm but not hot and do wear another jacket on top but still makes a difference in the winter.
Battery only lasts 4-5 hours on high before needing to be swapped out.
Quirks:
If the battery is plugged into the jacket but not powered for a long period the power button won’t function until the battery is unplugged and plugged back in.
Pressing power on the jacket will set it to high but drops to low after a period of time unless other power setting is selected or cycled back around to high.
Flaws:
The zipper is really mid and only took a few months before it started giving way and fully breaking. I had mine replaced after about a year.

Heating elements could be a bit larger or placed differently.
The hood design is a bit strange and not a fan of rolling it up in the jacket.
Price is good especially accounting the battery that’s included.
Little more than a year I had to fix the wiring (my fault I do abuse it a bit) there’s nothing preventing the wires from the power button from being yanked on. The power button connectors are sealed by a layer of silicon but if anyone has a similar issue you can pop the stitching inside the left pocket way up high to get access to the wires and the button.
In my case the connection from the battery to the button was fine but the button to the elements was shorted and I just skipped the button and bridged the connections. It’s always on high but the minor chore of unplugging the battery to turn it off but nothings stopping you from adding your own button inside the pocket or something.

Sizing wise, I wear a M shirt and usually a L jacket. I’m 5’10” , 175lbs, athletic lean body type. I got an XL and it’s perfect, slightly baggy so a down jacket fits snug underneath but I don’t feel like I’m swimming in it.

Works as advertised! Lots of pockets for storage. It is not bulky. I purchased it for trip to Chicago. We walked 1.5 miles to see Elf the play in 32° temperature at night. It kept me very toasty. The charge lasts a long time. The power bank can be used to charge other things like your cell phone. Excellent value for the money! I haven’t washed it yet, but instructions state you can.

i waited a few years before giving my review and here is what i found:
overall it is a good jacket, i have never owned a heated jacket before so i can’t compare it to another,
Pros:
toughness: i fell off a skateboard doing 32 mph and it didnt have a scratch unlike myself
water resistance: i usually like this jacket when it’s raining, it is pretty water resistant but keep in mind it is not waterproof.
wind resistance: i bought this for a e-bike i souped to do 53 mph, acted basically as a heated windbreaker pretty effectively.
Heat: the heating element works great, 3 settings, i recommend starting on high and once warm lowering it down as much as you can to preserve the battery, holds the heat pretty well
lasted nearly 3 years
Battery charging: compatible with type c chargers, i can’t say all fast chargers work, but i know the one for my chromebook worked effectively on it.
cons:
Battery life: battery will probably last 2 or 3 hours if you leave it on high function, it will automatically lower the setting once after 5 or 10 minutes, but when i was out riding my ebike in winter i would keep it on high, so i would need to recharge it pretty much daily.
longevity: this could go either way on what you expect from this as when i bought it, it had good reviews and relatively cheaper than the others on amazon, i’ve gone through 2 and half to 3 winters / years with it and it has never let me down, but about a month ago i can’t get it to stay on, most of the time when i have the battery plugged into my jacket now the color scheme that indicates the setting spazzes through all the settings until it sits on white, which i am guessing is the color code for something being wrong, red is high, blue medium, green low. if i play with it sometimes i can get it to stay on for a bit, but i will often look down and it will be off with a full charge, i can’t say if it is the internals of the jacket or the battery or the connecting between the two.
overall i am happy i bought it and it was extremely useful to me when i didn’t have a car, i still use it in the car. turn it on in the house and it keeps me warm on the car ride until the heat picks up in 5 or 10 minutes.

Comfortable and works great, I use it for my HVAC work. Its not encumbering too. Being able to remove the patches is also very helpful, as I dont have to worry about losing them throughout the day when I put my toolbag over my shoulders. Being machine washable is also great since it gets dusty where I work sometimes. The battery lasts a long time, I got another battery to charge that one while I use it when its low, since the plug on the jacket is a certain way to avoid accidental damage, I just put it in my sleeve pocket and run the wire inside so it dosent get In the way

Every time I go outside my hands are the ones it’s cold so I didn’t think about a jacket having to hear hand pockets. It was my mistake. Good quality battery charges up fast and it fixed like a clog not too loose not too tight just perfect. And it’s not too heavy and it’s very soft. The only thing is that he didn’t come with the heat of jacket. This is the first time I ever bought a heated jacket. I know next time when I buy a heated jacket it’s gonna have heat of pocket because my hands get very cold easy outside even when I’ve put them inside the jacket they’re still cold. I like the jacket.

I really like the jacket, water resistant and a mild wind breaker. I throw a bigger jacket over this one, and turn the heat accordingly to the weather. I like the hoodie design, kinda peaks out a little. The jacket only connects by DC barrel jack so the battery is proprietary to this jacket, however a smarter person than me could find an adapter for other power banks, you would need to find a small unit because the inside pocket is a snug fit for the included battery. For instance I would not be able to fit my ugreen 100w 20k mah battery in there. It’s seemingly a regular 5000mah unit, however not listed among the input is the ability to accept up to 20v input, and I can also confirm 15v output aux charging. So total input charging is capped at around 30w. You pay enough for this so you should be getting that kind of power spec, but weird it’s not listed. Maybe it’s not certified or something, so they keep it hush but idk. Lasts about 5 hours on highest, and by itself no other layering that will help me in 32°f, but any lower than that I’m layering. The orange is quick to pick up dirt and grime, maybe go for another color if that’s a concern. Would be cool if there was high vis integrated, as I need that but I have to throw a high vis vest over this, shame because the orange is already so vivid. The elements are at the elbows, back and some on the front, and honestly when it’s really cold it doesn’t really really feel like it’s saving you more like extending your comfort coming from an already warm place. If you aren’t active while wearing this I think you may be disappointed after a while in really cold weather because the elements aren’t evenly distributed throughout. Feels more like hotspots, and underneath layers it’s something I have adapted to and set my expectations on already.

As he has gotten older, he is leaner, is 5’7 and as time goes buy you cannot avoid atrophy and muscle no matter how much you move. He loves loves loves this jacket- He had it on the next time I saw say (After XMAS) – I have bought Ralph Lauren, Cole Hahn, London Fog, Head Jackets, furry/plush (Thank you UGG) but this is the one I have seen in him (for 1/4th the price) – seems gimmicky, but being a high end label guy myself (Thank you Gucci) – this jacket is awesome for those who run cold. Cant say I will every get one because I run Hot and live in Los Angeles- So no, but the design is there and you could never tell what it is and looks good- Slap on a Prada triangle on the chest ad you would never know the difference- great quality !

By most accounts, this heated jacket is quite impressive. It does what it proclaims to do. It heats up pretty quick. It keeps you comfortably warm while the weather around you is frigid. The different stages of warmth are both subtle and quite effective at the same time. The battery charge time is reasonable and has a nice digital display of battery percentage. My battery life generally lasts me a few days as I don’t keep my battery/jacket on for long consistent times. The charged battery life is pretty accurate to what is stated, except in the event that you could (as I do) cycle the jacket on and off or between the different heat levels. Then you could reasonably extend the battery life and warming effects. This jacket is as comfortable as it is functional. I wear this jacket quite often without the heated feature. So why 4 stars instead of 5?? The 1 issue I have is quite annoying. I have to constantly unplug and then re-plug in the battery for it to work. For instance, if I leave the heat off for a few hours, I have to unplug the battery from the jacket and re-plug it in for the battery to work. And certainly as the power is off overnight, I have to unplug and re-plug in the battery every morning. This is insanely annoying. I really don’t know if this is a flaw in my jacket/battery or if this is typical for all jacket/batteries. It’s enough of an inconvenience to drop my rating from 5 to 4 stars. I still would recommend the jacket though. As my job keeps me out in the elements quite often, the benefit of keeping warm through Chicago winters is worth the daily inconvenience of unplugging/re-plugging resets.

The jacket and power bank are pretty good quality the only thing I don’t like is the zipper. It’s so hard to get it to start and then come lose I’ve had it for roughly a month and a half and the part you hook the zipper on to start it is beginning to frey a bit. I’m going to have to be very gentle with it from this point forward. That issue aside I love the jacket it’s been snowing and 17 degrees and it’s kept me warm with just a polo underneath. Battery last quite a long time too.

Overly impressed with this coat. I use it as my daily work coat, mostly waterproof but spraying it will make it completely waterproof. Battery placement is perfect, doesn’t interfere with sitting, seatbelts or even carrying things. It’s extremely warm despite being light weight and thin. Only needed to replace my last one because it got caught on a sharp metal edge. Only issue is sometimes ive had issues with the battery cord. But unplugging it and plugging it back in usually fixes it.

I like the hoodie design, kinda peaks out a little. The jacket only connects by DC barrel jack so the battery is proprietary to this jacket, however a smarter person than me could find an adapter for other power banks, you would need to find a small unit because the inside pocket is a snug fit for the included battery. For instance I would not be able to fit my ugreen 100w 20k mah battery in there. It’s seemingly a regular 5000mah unit, however not listed among the input is the ability to accept up to 20v input, and I can also confirm 15v output aux charging. So total input charging is capped at around 30w. You pay enough for this so you should be getting that kind of power spec, but weird it’s not listed. Maybe it’s not certified or something, so they keep it hush but idk. Lasts about 5 hours on highest, and by itself no other layering that will help me in 32°f, but any lower than that I’m layering. The orange is quick to pick up dirt and grime, maybe go for another color if that’s a concern. Would be cool if there was high vis integrated, as I need that but I have to throw a high vis vest over this, shame because the orange is already so vivid. The elements are at the elbows, back and some on the front, and honestly when it’s really cold it doesn’t really really feel like it’s saving you more like extending your comfort coming from an already warm place. If you aren’t active while wearing this I think you may be disappointed after a while in really cold weather because the elements aren’t evenly distributed throughout. Feels more like hotspots, and underneath layers it’s something I have adapted to and set my expectations on already.

The charged battery life is pretty accurate to what is stated, except in the event that you could (as I do) cycle the jacket on and off or between the different heat levels. Then you could reasonably extend the battery life and warming effects. This jacket is as comfortable as it is functional. I wear this jacket quite often without the heated feature. So why 4 stars instead of 5?? The 1 issue I have is quite annoying. I have to constantly unplug and then re-plug in the battery for it to work. For instance, if I leave the heat off for a few hours, I have to unplug the battery from the jacket and re-plug it in for the battery to work. And certainly as the power is off overnight, I have to unplug and re-plug in the battery every morning. This is insanely annoying. I really don’t know if this is a flaw in my jacket/battery or if this is typical for all jacket/batteries. It’s enough of an inconvenience to drop my rating from 5 to 4 stars. I still would recommend the jacket though. As my job keeps me out in the elements quite often, the benefit of keeping warm through Chicago winters is worth the daily inconvenience of unplugging/re-plugging resets.

It’s a nice jacket but it has some issues. Coming up on a year of use the major stand out is the fact that the battery needs to be unplugged and reconnected every time you want to use the heat. This means opening the zippered pocket and unplugging the battery, waiting 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Usually it’s good for an hour but any longer and you need to repeat the process. I have reservations on how long the plug will last when this has to be repeated every day, often multiple times and has been an issue from day one.
Stitching is generally good, on par with the price point but the loop for hanging failed quite early on. Minor issue, can be hung by the hood flap. If not for the battery constantly needing to be reconnected it would likely be a five star review, but I can’t recommend it as it doesn’t work as it should.

Massive disappointment in a $150 heated jacket by Dewbu brand. Because of embellished and exaggerated product specs and performance, as well as low quality components and fabrics while sold at a high price point for what you get. I tested his coat. Dewbu’s fancy advertising illustrations, specs, and marketing claims far exceed the actual quality and performance of their heated jacket. The placement of their low-heat element pads yields the jacket far short of their ads. Some reviewers tout how good the coat performs, but seem to lack the scrutiny of an objective assessment of all the important aspects like: stitching quality, zipper integrity, and heating performance based on measured tests with digital thermometers in various settings and situations. They seem as amateurs who tout the product simply because they bought it and therefore rationalize to themselves that they made the right decision; as well as never comparing it to other heated jackets.
The zippers are the worst I’ve ever seen. I expected medium or heavy-duty zippers on a coat this heavy and expensive. However, the zippers are all plastic, including the slider/puller assembly — ALL PLASTIC! And extremely small and delicate. This size zipper you usually find on slimsy thin women’s lingerie. However, for a men’s coat/jacket the zippers should be no less than medium, although for a $150 coat they should be heavy-duty like most other American-made coats and jackets. This Dewbu jacket uses minimum quality components in order to cut corners, and then sell the jacket at a premium price.
This main zipper is so extreme small that it does not zip-and-unzip smoothly or easily. It’s very difficult to zip-up; care must be taken to get the zipper to work — because it’s so small and delicate. And with regular daily use during the long winter months, I am absolutely certain it will fail within one year. I have attached comparison photos of the zippers on a variety of coats and jackets that cost a lot less than this Dewbu heated coat. Several of them in the photo comparison is summer light-weight jacket and yet have substantially much better zippers than the Dewbu coat.
It is not uncommon that the off-shore manufacturers tend to cut corners on fabrics, hardware, and other materials than comprise their final product. In this case of the Dewbu coat, when the zipper fails, the heated aspect of the coat becomes worthless; and a waste of $150. And to make things worse, the off-shore manufacturers are beginning to charge a premium price for their sub-standard products because they now have a corner on the market (mostly everything is from China nowadays), so they are all raising their prices and are inconsistent with the poor quality of most of their products.
I left this jacket on the HIGH heat setting for ten (10) minutes indoors in my living room at home, and none of the heating elements ever reached 85-degrees — which is much lower the advertised 140-degrees advertised. The Eastern manufacturers and sellers always embellish and exaggerate to the specs on their products, which is a form of deception. The normal stress areas of the coat fabric when worn are not double-stitched to ensure integrity and reliability of the fabric. The batteries in the battery pack are also of low quality and do not perform as well as advertised. I would not recommend buying this Dewbu coat primarily because of the poor zipper quality, the small area of heated pad coverage, and low battery/heating performance. IMO this Dewbu coat is a typical mass-produced generic heated coat that was rebranded by Dewbu and advertised at inaccurate specs and poor performance standards. I returned the jacket immediately because the zipper was difficult to zip up and expected it to fail eventually rendering the jacket worthless with broken zipper.
I offer this honest and candid evaluation so that loyal Amazon customers will not be disappointed and risk wasting their money. Always be cautious of marketing claims and hype by all heated jacket brands.

I really like this jacket, it’s well made, comfortable and the heating system is awesome but and this is a BIG but for me the light up LED power button on the front of the coat is embarrassing. Its so bright it can be seen from miles away and a lot of people will accuse you of wearing a body camera, I’ve covered mine up with a piece of tape. PUT THE BUTTON INSIDE THE COAT. I love the idea of a heated jacket but I will not buy another one that has an LED button on the outside.

Bought this as a XMAS gift for my 80 year old dad that goes to his grandsons baseball games in any weather. He is always cold- You know, those tough guys who will never say something yet are shaking. As he has gotten older, he is leaner, is 5’7 and as time goes buy you cannot avoid atrophy and muscle no matter how much you move. He loves loves loves this jacket- He had it on the next time I saw say (After XMAS) – I have bought Ralph Lauren, Cole Hahn, London Fog, Head Jackets, furry/plush (Thank you UGG) but this is the one I have seen in him (for 1/4th the price) – seems gimmicky, but being a high end label guy myself (Thank you Gucci) – this jacket is awesome for those who run cold. Cant say I will every get one because I run Hot and live in Los Angeles- So no, but the design is there and you could never tell what it is and looks good- Slap on a Prada triangle on the chest ad you would never know the difference- great quality !

My jacket does have an issue though, the heating elements will not turn on unless I first unplug the battery then plug it back in which is very annoying. I also wish the button for turning on the heating elements was by the pocket or bottom hem and not on the top of the left chest area. Just a personal preference thing.

Bought two Soft shell jackets and two extra batteries for me and my father who work outdoors.
Overall it’s good, has some flaws and quirks.
Fit is good,
warm but not hot and do wear another jacket on top but still makes a difference in the winter.
Battery only lasts 4-5 hours on high before needing to be swapped out.
Quirks:
If the battery is plugged into the jacket but not powered for a long period the power button won’t function until the battery is unplugged and plugged back in.
Pressing power on the jacket will set it to high but drops to low after a period of time unless other power setting is selected or cycled back around to high.
Flaws:
The zipper is really mid and only took a few months before it started giving way and fully breaking. I had mine replaced after about a year.

Little more than a year I had to fix the wiring (my fault I do abuse it a bit) there’s nothing preventing the wires from the power button from being yanked on. The power button connectors are sealed by a layer of silicon but if anyone has a similar issue you can pop the stitching inside the left pocket way up high to get access to the wires and the button.
In my case the connection from the battery to the button was fine but the button to the elements was shorted and I just skipped the button and bridged the connections. It’s always on high but the minor chore of unplugging the battery to turn it off but nothings stopping you from adding your own button inside the pocket or something.

Great jacket. I’ve had it for over 3 year now and it still looks great.
The only negative is after 3 years it doesn’t get as warm as it used it. The battery still lasts a few hours on high, but it’s just not very warm even on high. Also the wiring comes loose still and turns off the heat.
Still a great jacket, good quality, I love the velcro patches on the arms, I’ve bought tons of different patches to switch out.

Every time I go outside my hands are the ones it’s cold so I didn’t think about a jacket having to hear hand pockets. It was my mistake. Good quality battery charges up fast and it fixed like a clog not too loose not too tight just perfect. And it’s not too heavy and it’s very soft. Ok first the good, this jacket seems to have he best placement and amount of heaters in it, 5 locations, well thought out. The arm locations aren’t deep enough in the jacket, the back location heater is the best, the two front ones are very iffy, left one seemed colder. Ok the bad, Holy man, that’s the worst zipper ever, why spend 250 on a jacket that doesn’t even have a Ykk zipper. It won’t stay closed and it’s brand new. Hoods way too small. The many outside pockets are very useful, and the front two double as hand warmer pockets because the heaters location. Battery sometimes needs the button pressed to get the jacket to turn on. The 3 heat settings are great, red is really warm and kills battery fast, the lowest setting lasts longer and is still warm enough. Don’t layer too much, might over heat. Appreciate the companys great customer service.

Another great purchase. I did a lot of reviews as I am very particular with heated jackets. My Son really wanted a heated jacket for his mammoth trip. This was a great price and very comfortable. My son said he barely even has to turn on the heat that it’s warm enough in the snow as it is. But he loves the fact that he can turn on the heat if he does get cold. He mentioned that it’s very comfortable and it fits perfect. The material is great as well and so far the zipper is good.

As he has gotten older, he is leaner, is 5’7 and as time goes buy you cannot avoid atrophy and muscle no matter how much you move. He loves loves loves this jacket- He had it on the next time I saw say (After XMAS) – I have bought Ralph Lauren, Cole Hahn, London Fog, Head Jackets, furry/plush (Thank you UGG) but this is the one I have seen in him (for 1/4th the price) – seems gimmicky, but being a high end label guy myself (Thank you Gucci) – this jacket is awesome for those who run cold. Cant say I will every get one because I run Hot and live in Los Angeles- So no, but the design is there and you could never tell what it is and looks good- Slap on a Prada triangle on the chest ad you would never know the difference- great quality !

The jacket heats up very good and the battery last for what I needed it for, but I didn’t think about getting a jacket with heated hand. Every time I go outside my hands are the ones it’s cold so I didn’t think about a jacket having to hear hand pockets. It was my mistake. Good quality battery charges up fast and it fixed like a clog not too loose not too tight just perfect. And it’s not too heavy and it’s very soft. The only thing is that he didn’t come with the heat of jacket. This is the first time I ever bought a heated jacket. I know next time when I buy a heated jacket it’s gonna have heat of pocket because my hands get very cold easy outside even when I’ve put them inside the jacket they’re still cold. I like the jacket.

The different stages of warmth are both subtle and quite effective at the same time. The battery charge time is reasonable and has a nice digital display of battery percentage. My battery life generally lasts me a few days as I don’t keep my battery/jacket on for long consistent times. The charged battery life is pretty accurate to what is stated, except in the event that you could (as I do) cycle the jacket on and off or between the different heat levels. Then you could reasonably extend the battery life and warming effects. This jacket is as comfortable as it is functional. I wear this jacket quite often without the heated feature. So why 4 stars instead of 5?? The 1 issue I have is quite annoying. I have to constantly unplug and then re-plug in the battery for it to work. For instance, if I leave the heat off for a few hours, I have to unplug the battery from the jacket and re-plug it in for the battery to work. And certainly as the power is off overnight, I have to unplug and re-plug in the battery every morning. This is insanely annoying. I really don’t know if this is a flaw in my jacket/battery or if this is typical for all jacket/batteries. It’s enough of an inconvenience to drop my rating from 5 to 4 stars. I still would recommend the jacket though. As my job keeps me out in the elements quite often, the benefit of keeping warm through Chicago winters is worth the daily inconvenience of unplugging/re-plugging resets.

For the price this is a no brainer for anybody thinking about getting a heated jacket. This jacket is very easy to clean as it is machine washable. While this does get pretty warm, after it gets any colder than -20c I do wish it was slightly warmer. This jacket is nice and sleek and is very high quality even after daily use in a blue collar job. Jacket fit nicely and I like how the battery pack displays the battery percentage left

I really like the jacket, water resistant and a mild wind breaker. I throw a bigger jacket over this one, and turn the heat accordingly to the weather. I like the hoodie design, kinda peaks out a little. The jacket only connects by DC barrel jack so the battery is proprietary to this jacket, however a smarter person than me could find an adapter for other power banks, you would need to find a small unit because the inside pocket is a snug fit for the included battery. For instance I would not be able to fit my ugreen 100w 20k mah battery in there. It’s seemingly a regular 5000mah unit, however not listed among the input is the ability to accept up to 20v input, and I can also confirm 15v output aux charging. So total input charging is capped at around 30w. You pay enough for this so you should be getting that kind of power spec, but weird it’s not listed. Maybe it’s not certified or something, so they keep it hush but idk. Lasts about 5 hours on highest, and by itself no other layering that will help me in 32°f, but any lower than that I’m layering. The orange is quick to pick up dirt and grime, maybe go for another color if that’s a concern. Would be cool if there was high vis integrated, as I need that but I have to throw a high vis vest over this, shame because the orange is already so vivid. The elements are at the elbows, back and some on the front, and honestly when it’s really cold it doesn’t really really feel like it’s saving you more like extending your comfort coming from an already warm place. If you aren’t active while wearing this I think you may be disappointed after a while in really cold weather because the elements aren’t evenly distributed throughout. Feels more like hotspots, and underneath layers it’s something I have adapted to and set my expectations on already.

Great jacket at a great price on sale. Offers a better battery shape than Milwaukee’s heated coats and I have both. I prefer it so much I got a adapter to use the battery pack in my Milwaukee jacket, plus you can charge your phone via the battery pack as well. The material is good and the heating strips are great for when you are at the top of the chairlift. Overall great product.

Updated: 2 years later, and nothing has changed, it still works great! BUT, if there was something I could “complain” about it is when the Jacket has been off for a certain amount of time, you have to disconnect the cable from the battery and reconnect it to be able to power the jacket on again. It’s odd, but it’s not enough for me to lower my 5 star rating. I still recommend this.
I love this thing, it is worth every penny and then some! I think this is a steal even at retail price, discounted, is a no brainer.
Now don’t expect to be able to go outside in freezing temps with nothing on but this jacket, without insulation you’ll freeze cause it has none. The heat warms up the layers you are wearing, and in turn warms you.
The point is so you don’t have to wear seven layers to stay warm. Just one maybe two layers and this jacket is all you need. (One or two layers because everyone is different).
Typically for my neck of the woods a t-shirt and a medium weight synthetic sweatshirt is all the insulation I need for those days that drop down in to the 20°s, more insulation if colder or very windy or both. If this thing can make me start sweating when it’s 14° and I am only snowblowing,… It’s a good jacket.
The 75D fabric (more on that below) has good abrasion resistance I am always rubbing up against things at work and there are no signs of any wear. It blocks wind until 30+mph, on gusty days I feel some of that wind make it’s way through the fabric, it’s very light, but I feel it. On days like those wear a synthetic or wool base layer it will help.
So say there is a day in the upper teens, low twenties with a 15-20 mph wind, gusts 20+. I personally would wear a base layer and a mid layer.
The Jacket sizing runs true to size, I bought it in Large to have extra room for layers when I go snowboarding. I would have bought this in a Medium if I didn’t have snowboarding in mind.
I messaged Dewbu about the denier rating. I was curious. All Dewbu’s soft shell jackets have a denier rating of 75.
The battery life is pretty spot on to what Dewbu advertises. After doing some “testing” at work, Low lasts 10 hours, Medium lasts 7 hours, High lasts 4 hours.
Do not launder this without a laundry bag, you’ll ruin it. Remember to remove the battery, and zip up the battery cable. Also, the battery takes 3.5 hours to charge from 0-100% with a 2 amp charger.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very nice. I went with one size up from my normal size and it fits great, and gives a little room to let the heat circulate. Warms up quickly. Plenty of pockets, draw strings, the hood rolls up an secures nicely with velcro. It’s a great jacket for the price. ☆One thing☆ noticed after wearing the jacket. Don’t know if it’s a feature or not. After wearing the jacket and turning it off the next time / day it wouldn’t turn on when pressing the button. Had to unplug the battery and plug it back in, then it would turn on. No biggie I would still recommend the jacket. The battery life is strong. Wore it for several hours checking out the different heat settings, an only used 25% . When i use it i didn’t have to have it on all the time. But I would say the battery would last a good 10 hrs on low. And I didn’t need to keep it on the high setting @ 140° cause it did get really warm. Battery takes a while to charge & it does show in % the remaining charge. I’m very pleased with the jacket and would recommend it to anyone.

I was skeptical about getting a “knock off” brand, but I can say I was genuinely surprised at how great quality this jacket is, it’s lightweight, once it gets up to temp it maintains the warmth pretty good, it fits nice and snug, I would recommend getting a second battery and having it fully charged so when one dies the other is ready to go, battery life is average, drains pretty fast on the highest setting, but other than that I would recommend this jacket 20 times over.

Massive disappointment in a $150 heated jacket by Dewbu brand. Because of embellished and exaggerated product specs and performance, as well as low quality components and fabrics while sold at a high price point for what you get. I tested his coat. Dewbu’s fancy advertising illustrations, specs, and marketing claims far exceed the actual quality and performance of their heated jacket. The placement of their low-heat element pads yields the jacket far short of their ads. Some reviewers tout how good the coat performs, but seem to lack the scrutiny of an objective assessment of all the important aspects like: stitching quality, zipper integrity, and heating performance based on measured tests with digital thermometers in various settings and situations. They seem as amateurs who tout the product simply because they bought it and therefore rationalize to themselves that they made the right decision; as well as never comparing it to other heated jackets.
The zippers are the worst I’ve ever seen. I expected medium or heavy-duty zippers on a coat this heavy and expensive. However, the zippers are all plastic, including the slider/puller assembly — ALL PLASTIC! And extremely small and delicate. This size zipper you usually find on slimsy thin women’s lingerie. However, for a men’s coat/jacket the zippers should be no less than medium, although for a $150 coat they should be heavy-duty like most other American-made coats and jackets. This Dewbu jacket uses minimum quality components in order to cut corners, and then sell the jacket at a premium price.
This main zipper is so extreme small that it does not zip-and-unzip smoothly or easily. It’s very difficult to zip-up; care must be taken to get the zipper to work — because it’s so small and delicate. And with regular daily use during the long winter months, I am absolutely certain it will fail within one year. I have attached comparison photos of the zippers on a variety of coats and jackets that cost a lot less than this Dewbu heated coat. Several of them in the photo comparison is summer light-weight jacket and yet have substantially much better zippers than the Dewbu coat.
It is not uncommon that the off-shore manufacturers tend to cut corners on fabrics, hardware, and other materials than comprise their final product. In this case of the Dewbu coat, when the zipper fails, the heated aspect of the coat becomes worthless; and a waste of $150. And to make things worse, the off-shore manufacturers are beginning to charge a premium price for their sub-standard products because they now have a corner on the market (mostly everything is from China nowadays), so they are all raising their prices and are inconsistent with the poor quality of most of their products.
I left this jacket on the HIGH heat setting for ten (10) minutes indoors in my living room at home, and none of the heating elements ever reached 85-degrees — which is much lower the advertised 140-degrees advertised. The Eastern manufacturers and sellers always embellish and exaggerate to the specs on their products, which is a form of deception. The normal stress areas of the coat fabric when worn are not double-stitched to ensure integrity and reliability of the fabric. The batteries in the battery pack are also of low quality and do not perform as well as advertised. I would not recommend buying this Dewbu coat primarily because of the poor zipper quality, the small area of heated pad coverage, and low battery/heating performance. IMO this Dewbu coat is a typical mass-produced generic heated coat that was rebranded by Dewbu and advertised at inaccurate specs and poor performance standards. I returned the jacket immediately because the zipper was difficult to zip up and expected it to fail eventually rendering the jacket worthless with broken zipper.
I offer this honest and candid evaluation so that loyal Amazon customers will not be disappointed and risk wasting their money. Always be cautious of marketing claims and hype by all heated jacket brands.
