  1. Ron Daily –

These heated long underwear are overall great.

They are comfortable despite the wiring necessary to make them heated. They feel like a thick, flannely cotton, with adequate stretch.

The sizing is interesting. I got a large, and these are a little shy of large, but that is sometimes the case with long johns because they are intended to be snug and fit under clothes. The only con of the sizing is that the sleeves, not the legs, are significantly short. Sometimes long undershirts are made this way on purpose so that the sleeves don’t protrude past your outer shirt. That’s fine, but these overshoot that mark and for me the sleeves land about 3 inches short of my wrist bone.

The heating is good and consistent. Just as expected and no problem there. A real gift if you have to stand outside in the cold.

I don’t love that the battery packs use a circular connection port. USBC would have been better because you could replace these with any small phone charger battery. But that said, the battery units are well sized for an undergarment and fit nicely into the zip compartment on both the shirt and bottoms. Also note that the light to indicate whether the batteries are charging or charged is located on the wall base charger adapter, not on the batteries themselves. I plugged it in “upside down” at first, and I couldn’t find the light. Once I turned it over, it’s fine and does the job, but it wasn’t where I expected it.

Overall, niche product with good application, comfortable, and a treat in cold weather.

The gear was a slightly oversized, but fits well enough. It heats well and fast. The battery pocket on the shirt is in a weird spot, and the batteries are small. Fortunately they are standard 7.4 volt connections, so you can use larger batteries or get an adapter. The battery pockets only fit the battery that comes with them, so get an extension cable with the adapters.

I needed to wait until a cold day to really test this out and in Georgia it doesn’t tend to get very cold very often, but yesterday was finally that day! Since this isn’t really something we tend to need down in Georgia, I cannot speak much to how much similar sets cost.

The SAVIOR HEAT Heated Underwear for Men is a high-performance base layer designed for extreme cold-weather activities like skiing, hunting, or winter commuting. Constructed from a soft, breathable polyester and spandex blend, this set provides a snug, athletic fit that layers effectively under heavier clothing without causing significant bulk or restriction of movement. The fabric is moisture-wicking and quick-drying, which is essential for maintaining comfort regardless of what you are doing.

The core of this system is the carbon fiber heating technology, which targets key areas prone to cold injuries, focusing primarily on the back, and left side and waist on the abdomen. The system is powered by two 7.4V 3000mAh rechargeable lithium battery packs that sit in dedicated pockets on the garments. Using the controllers on the left wrist and waistband, users can cycle through three distinct heat settings (High, Medium, and Low) offering a temperature range from approximately 100°F to 150°F. On the highest setting, the elements (according to the manufacturer) reach peak temperature in about 30 seconds, providing immediate relief in freezing conditions. Because I live in Georgia and we were only just below freezing, I really only tried it on the low setting and I can confirm that they warmed up within 30-60 seconds.

Battery performance is practical but varies significantly by heat level. On the lowest setting, the system provides consistent warmth for up to 5 or 6 hours, while the highest setting depletes the batteries in roughly 2 to 2.5 hours. While the metal controls and wiring are built for durability, the batteries do add some weight to the waistband, and the metal-encased components require careful handling during washing. It is recommended to use a laundry bag (they provide one) and remove all batteries before cleaning to preserve the integrity of the heating elements as well as the batteries

The only thing I wasn’t overly keen on was when you remove the protector for the plugs for when you connect the battery, there is no place to put them and they will easily get lost. Also, top wise, the heating elements are mostly on the left side which makes some sense since that is in theory the blood mostly going out to the rest of the body.

Overall, this heated underwear is a reliable solution for those who require active temperature management in harsh environments or who are just trying to avoid the occasional freezing cold of Georgia.

  4. Balp –

Pros: Love love this heated underwear set – and my first thought on trying it this week was how I wish I had this in -20 degree weather in Montreal last year. The Fit was perfect and the innerwear set so comfy. The stitch and material quality look top class.

Charged up the battery with provided charger – and put them on. The lights are Red – full heat; White – Medium Heat & Blue – low Heat (though this was mentioned nowhere in the user manual – figured it out by testing). I used the medium setting for the top & the low setting for the bottom – the top lasted me for 4-5 hours and the bottom for 7-8 hours. I would imagine they would last for 3-4 hours under the High setting – but the high setting is quite warm – and I very quickly moved to the lower settings. Size S fit me perfectly – and I am 140 lbs.

Cons: Just one – just one – please change the Battery charging ports to USB-C – that way we are not stuck with any particular charger for this set alone. USB-C should just be the default standard for everything.

This is a good idea, but the product, I feel could use some work. Sizing accuracy, I feel is off I wish I had sized up. The shirt would be better if it had heating options in other areas. The heating is just on the lower back and feels like an Icy Hot kinda warming patch. It really doesn’t do much if you are outside in the cold all day. The pants are overall comfortable and soft to wear underneath your clothes all day. The pants definitely feel a lot better than the shirt does as far as all-over warmth. I keep my battery on low or medium and it last a full 8-hour shift outside. And the batteries are small enough that you hardly feel them when they are in your pocket. Overall, I like the idea of these, but they could use some improvements.

  6. Panda –

I can’t fault too much here. Both top and bottom do get warm, but are mostly worthless on their own. Without layering, you won’t get much out of these, especially the top (no one would wear those leggings on their own anyhow!).

The controls are non-existent, so it makes this an extremely simple user experience. Just plug in the power brick and it’s on. I don’t care for the placement of the pouches, especially on the top as it’s on the side and feels odd when you’re walking. You get used to it, but this may not be optimal for the smaller/lighter folks. I’d have my uch preferred they put the connectors at the center/front.

  7. Hector lopez –

If you work outside or hate the cold this set is a game changer. It feels like someone plugged you into a wall outlet in the best way. Heats up fast and actually stays warm instead of pretending like some heated gear does. Battery life is solid and got me through long cold days without quitting on me first. Fit is snug but comfortable and layers well under work clothes. Only downside is once you wear this everything else feels like betrayal. Cold weather no longer stands a chance.

  8. They fit great but the battery holding charge. –

Ur only warm on the heat zones. Coveralls are better

  9. Terrie –

Seriously the high setting is 🔥🔥🔥 I charged these up for the night before going out to a very cold sporting event (27F & wet cold) and these made the entire experience bareable. I don’t know if I would have made it otherwise irrespective of the number of layers that could be added. These things heat up so quickly; I mean instant. They do eventually cycle down to a lower temp but I would just bump them back up to keep extra toasty. I’m not kidding I recommended these and sent the link to 3 other people that night because I wasn’t just surviving the cold, I was thriving in it.

The sizing is true as I got a small and that’s always my size in everything. The charging process is easy and fast. Just make sure to charge them fully before the first use. I know this set seems expensive, especially for something that you can’t actually wash, but when you have to be outside in the elements for an extended period of time they are a lifesaver and worth every cent. You need these!!
