  2. Zamba –

Garmin watch is fantastic but these EARBUDS are rubbish, the worst on the market. So don’t buy this “combo” thinking about them…..

  3. Barbara Nord –

Love the watch and all its features. Great buy for Black Friday deal.

  4. V Rogers –

I like the looks perfect size. So much better than Apple regarding battery life but still figuring it all out.

  5. jhull –

I’ve been through a few smartwatch watching and this one is by far the best. I’ve had the fitbit and vivoactive which was horrible. This Garmin has a beautiful screen and works well. I have the Venu 3s. I didn’t want a huge thing on my wrist. I’m average size male. 5.11. 200lb and watch looks good and not to big.

  6. Zamba –

I upgraded my watch from Garmin 245 music to this venus3s. First off I love the look very sleek and cute design. The wrist band is very comfortable. Only time I take it off to charge and I like seeing how my sleep is when I wake up. I only charge about once a week. I do a lot of running with it so it uses a lot of battery. GPS is pretty accurate. I’m very happy with this watch.

  7. EmeryJoe –

I had a Venu 2 Plus but through my own fault, I destroyed it. So I bought this as a replacement. I’m not sure what improvements were made from the Venu 2, but this Venu 3 works identically to the previous one. The difference may be that the battery last for 14 days rather than 10. However, I know from experience that after a year or so, the battery’s efficiency will deteriorate. But the features on this watch are exactly what I wanted. I’ve tried other watches in the past including two Fitbits which broke down in one year – yes, both of them. The Garmin has been solid and I like that it partners with my iPhone and gives me Intensity Minutes which is a better indicator of my daily exercises versus merely Steps. Also, the GPS is solid as is the Sleep Tracking. Highly recommended.

  8. Alex ML –

My quick takes after 2 months of use ( I don’t take it off).
Visually = can download different backgrounds with features. I have thin small wrists, the black doesn’t look too chunky, and the wrist band fits. I did return the grey because it looked bulkier and more plasticy
ECG = actually accessing the ECG takes time, make sure you go into the other heart rate tracker and switch alerts for high and low bpm on.
Heart monitor = great, love this for making sure I not over exerting myself, and also to see how effective my cardio workouts are
Period tracker = life saver – yay!! Stops me feeling surprised or freaked out that Im pregnant every month (one of the features I was after)
Motivation score= makes me want to be more active and I feel good whenever it congratulates me on step & floors climbed goals lol
Audio feature = My Bose EarPods compete between the phone and the watch and get lost. I picked up a call in a shopping center and was talking into my wrist (weird). Good for switching music tracks, but still a bit finicky to get there. Practice maybe.
Sleep = if you are awake and still lying down, it sometimes thinks you’re still sleeping. Not sure how they calculate the sleep, but this was one of the features I was looking for. I’m a terrible sleeper, often awake between 1-4am.
Stress = during a particularly tense work meeting my watch told me to calm down & breathe, we all laughed lol. Add ice breaker to the list.

Excellent watch – I absolutely love it. I feel like I have a little robot friend on my wrist.
Hands down one of the best gadget purchases I’ve ever made. I’m definitely not a gadget person & loved my analog watch, so this definitely felt like a leap of faith.

    Thumbs up from me!

  9. Juan Visser –

Good smart watch. Good battery life. Very nice screen.

  10. Jeremi Morris –

Bought for the wife since she wants to run half marathons with me. Battery life is insane. 14 days without running or about 9 with running.

  11. KAB –

My Garmin is awesome. I’m glad after thorough research, I selected this model. I does everything it promised. I have fallen into the routine of charging it every Sunday morning. It would hold the charge even a couple days longer. But this way, I don’t forget to charge it.

  12. NG –

This watch works great to track all my activity…
However….Be warned: I wore it once while time traveling back one year in the past to see a specific Jacob Collier performance and received a severe burn on my wrist during the ordeal. It worked fine afterwards and did survive but is not well suited for the extreme energy required to move through dimensions into another time space. Since it never made any claims to be able to withstand time travel I’ve decided to still give it five stars. See pics below

What can you say, it’s a Garmin. Of course this watch is efficient and useful. I purchased for run/walk training intervals. I recommend printing the manual and watching YouTube videos to set it up the way you prefer. Takes a bit to get the hang of it. I used the HIIT option to get both vibration and vocal notifications when it’s time to walk and run so I don’t have to keep looking at my watch all the time.
Battery life is superb. Why can’t Apple Watches work this way. I can wear the Garmin a week with training and not run out of juice.

    Highly recommend.

  14. Adam S –

Battery life is phenomenal. I charge it once every 2-3weeks, when it’s not connected to my phone. About a week and a half when connected. Easy to use, lightweight, and accurate as far as I can tell. I don’t use many of the sports tracking features. Just the run, hike, and swim ones, but they seem to work well. I’d say much better value than similar smart watches, considering the customizability and just on the battery alone.

  15. RunGirl –

  17. Amazon Customer –

Fell in love with this watch when I first used it on the golf course. Now? I cannot live without it. Long battery life, app is simple enough to use & understand. Everything stays connected as advertised and is performing perfectly. Easy read display and access to apps or activities. Not to mention texting from the watch in a pinch the old way using the number pad method! Very happy and still getting compliments on how pretty it is (rose lavender color).

My only issue is with the pin release bands. I was a fan of the quick release bands, and not a fan of the pin release version. Plus I really want a narrow watch band, but those do not exist for this version of watch yet. Look forward to when narrow resin watch bands are available.

I’m obsessed with the Venu 3s. New features are super great and it’s stylish. Everything I need to keep myself healthy.

However, the headphones that came with it are awful. They’re worth $19.99 and sound like trash. Just get the watch, not the headphones.

I hate this watch but sadly spent way to much money to have it sit around. This replaced a samsung watch and garmin doesn’t make it user friendly to navigate and why do I need more than one app for it. I will not be going back to garmin when it’s time for another watch

  29. Alejandro F. R. Hernandez –

Charger be aware! Just got it and can’t charge it. One side charges the watch, the other side is usb-c. None of my power bricks can take that. Usually chords are usb-c to usb. Anything I plug in has usb where it connects to power, so when buying this you either need to buy a power bricks to do usb c specially to wall charge or buy a Garmin charger that is Garmin to USB. No where in product does it say charger is USB-C and requires you buying an additional product to use it

  30. Dawg Gone –

Very nice watch but the Voice Assistant and Bluetooth call and text features are not compatible with my LG V60 phone yet the list Specs here say that it is compatible with all cell phones.

There are also reported incompatibilities with the latest Samsung phones so I strongly suggest looking into compatibility issues before purchasing this watch.

I have since returned the watch replacing it with a Google Pixel Watch 3 hoping for better compatibility.

  31. María –

I did A LOT of research before deciding to buy this watch due to its wonderful feature set, but to my disappointment, when I went to set up this watch, I was completely underwhelmed by its user interface, the lack of clarity in the set up instructions that came with the app, and the wearability of the device itself. It may be a great watch in terms of features, but this level of difficulty in just setting it up and putting it on/off tells me that there will be a long road of frustration ahead for me to keep this device. So, it’s going back.

    1) User Interface

    — It’s a mess. After 30 minutes fiddling with the device, I could not find a way to simply get back to the clock face! I tried all the buttons, long press, single press, double tap, you name it. No consumer device should be so difficult for the user to figure out how to get “HOME”. Yes, I could go online, find the user manual (which did not come with the device), read it, and then use the device “properly”. But in this day and age, something as basic as a clue for where HOME is on a consumer device should be intuitive.

    — The curved scrolling of the menu items makes it difficult to read because the text is now jumping along the curve. Maybe I’m just old. But it made me dizzy reading the display.

    2) Unclear set up instructions

Example: I was following along carefully the instructions on the Garmin Connect app for how to set up the ECG app. But alas, when we arrived at the final step of getting my first ECG per the instruction, the watch did not respond as the instructions suggest, and there was no clue on screen (or in the Garmin support site) for why that’s the case.

    3) Wrist band is difficult to use

The wrist band was exceptionally difficult to maneuver due to an extra “hook” they put on the non-buckled side of the band (the side with the holes). The hook kept getting caught when I tried to pull the band through the buckle when putting the watch on and off. This is a minor annoyance relative to the user interface issue described above, but nonetheless, I can’t see struggling with it every time when I need to take the watch on and off.

All in all, after fiddling with it for 40 minutes, I gave up. I hope Garmin will focus more on the usability of their products. I understand that it’s a great brand that makes great products. But they did not pass the usability test for this consumer.

It only gets a good recording of my sleep maybe once a week.

It hasn’t recorded a single run I have made. I have to manually add it.

The watch I received from this seller is broken.

Looks nice and charges well. But I didn’t buy this watch to just look cute.

Tried returning it and now I’m waiting on the seller to approve. I don’t know what I’ll do if they don’t.

  35. Jose Almanza –

Excelente de acuerdo a las especificaciones

  36. Kiley –

This was going to be my Christmas present for myself, however it was giving me heart and oxygen alarms, when I checked against my oximeter both readings were incorrect. I returned it.

This was going to be my Christmas present for myself, however it was giving me heart and oxygen alarms, when I checked against my oximeter both readings were incorrect. I returned it.
