Tire fits perfectly. I think it’s excellent value for the money. It’s got a really smooth ride. Easy to install. Really good tire quality. Very durable. I’m happy I got it. Good job people.

Outfitted my mountain bike with these as my old tires were getting bald. These are super wide, with really aggressive tread. Make sure you have a tubeless setup for your rims if you get these, or know how to convert your rims.
The four stars are due to the quality of the rubber. It’s super soft. I’m mostly on grassy trails and dirt, so I suspect they’ll last a long while for me, but if you’re doing gravel or rocky areas, these will probably wear very quickly.

A great tire in the right conditions. Not the best in corners and mud tends to accumulate. But great grip for up and down hill

Make no mistake, this is an off-road only tire. It has very large knobbies on it. It is built exceptionally well out of high quality rubber and do also note it is for a 27.5 x 2.6 wide rim. That is a good bit wider than a normal 1.95 rim. But overall it’s a good product will be and should hold up pretty well. 4 Stars.

The original tires wore out on my Axum and I was looking around for potential upgrades. I saw Terrene has this tire for 60% off, so when I found these listed as plural “Tires for Mountain Bike” I expected to get a pair (who would pay 2.5x for a single tire?). Unfortunately I only received a single tire and need to wait for another before swapping them out. They claim this tire is “lightweight” (~1220g on their site) and mine only weighs 1185g (2.61lbs), but this is still at the heavy end of the group. As far as I can tell the tread is completely symmetrical, but they indicate directions for rotation. The tire looks good quality and has a listed max pressure of 35PSI.

My Scott E-bike came with Maxxis 29″x2.6″ Dissector 3c Maxx Terra EXO+ tires. I never really felt comfortable on those tires with the e-bike. I had to run those tires at such a high pressure, I feel like I was loosing grip everywhere. After switching to the Terrene CHUNK 29X2.6 Tough/Grip the bike handles so much better, there’s more grip on berms, off camber trails and climbing trails. The whole gauntlet is just better, after running the first pair for 100+ miles. I ordered another pair to have on hand, I can’t speak for longevity, but they don’t seem to wear any faster than any other high grip tires. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and buy a pair. You won’t regret it.
