I love the helmet, visor and chinstrap all of which are excellent. Mips is a must – Koroyd is something that I don’t yet understand by I suspect it’s good to have. Go Smith!

Compared to its competitors, Smith is making very comfortable and proper fitting helmets across the board. Good value as well.

My wife and I really needed a modern helmet. And this has all the things I wanted to protect her noggin. Only thing is that one helmet was made in 2023. Purchased in 2024. Explains the discount. The SMITH store should really be more clear on which helmets are out of model year. It’s really not clear and I had to go to their main website to get information on the helmets. Of note the other helmet different model (Session) was a 2021 manufacturer, so 3 years old! (The manufacture dates are always inside the helmet!)
The fitment was good and c/w the sizing guidelines on the website. My wife is a small and I am a medium. But read the guidelines carefully and be careful to measure your head correctly of you may have problems, especially of your head is at the dreaded edge of the size range. Both of us feel that the helmet fits well and snuggly. The chin strap of this helmet adjusted well, but I really don’t like the strap adjustment of the other helmet. It was hard to get the side front and rear straps correct. In fact they still aren’t truly correct. The visors are nice and do work to keep glare off of glasses.
All in all my wife likes this helmet. The white makes her visible from afar which we also wanted.

Absolutely love this helmet. It’s super comfortable and fits great, but what sold me was how well it protected me. I took a pretty rough spill on a trail—went down hard—and didn’t feel a thing up top. No headache, no soreness, nothing. Can’t say the same for the rest of me, but this helmet definitely did its job. Worth every penny.

It’s very protective but not very comfortable. The back BOA strap doesn’t have padding and it’s all I can think about after an hour of riding.
