This holder makes it easy to carry fishing rods on a bike. It was simple to put on and held the poles tight. It’s perfect for biking to a fishing spot!

Such a great idea. It has changed our fishing game for sure. It’s easy to use. Fits on our bikes well. Seems to made well.

This two-rod holder works well once you get it set up. The installation was a bit tricky at first—aligning everything to fit snugly on the bike took some adjusting—but once it’s in place, it does exactly what it’s supposed to: securely holds two fishing rods while riding. I got it for my son so he could bike to the lake with his gear, and he’s really happy with it. It keeps the rods stable and out of the way, even on slightly rough paths. A solid pick for anyone who wants a convenient way to carry their rods by bike without needing a car.

Instillation for the fishing rod holder was easy. It came with multiple sizes so it can fit on a variety of bar thicknesses with 2-4 mounting points. A wrench to hold the nut works wonders and is the only tool you’ll need.
It gives enough space that my kickstand folds up without any issues and I should be able to use my bicycle trailer with it as well. It holds tightly against the bars and doesn’t wiggle or sway away from my bike.
It’s designed for different sizes of rods and reels. Even my ice fishing rod fits perfectly and the bungee cords hold them in place so they won’t be falling out any time soon. No catching on my pants or shoes and other than being careful when going underneath trees I don’t need to worry about my rods.
In general the build quality is great and it seems to be super sturdy when installed. I would highly suggest this product.
sports 485 –
This holder does it’s job pretty well once it’s set up. But installation can be kind of annoying depending on the style of bike. A road bike with smaller seat and chain stays it will be more obvious what mounting location works best. On my mountain bike it was a little more of trial and error to find what location would be the most effective. The installation isn’t bad by any means, just that it might take a little of time to get it perfect, this is expected as it is a universal fit.
The actual mount itself seems pretty stable, it is pretty heavy as well. If you want to keep your bike super light then this might not be the best mounting option for you. It doesn’t wiggle and rub against the bike, I will update this review if I use it enough that this starts to change. The mount will hold two rods securely. It can be kind of annoying if you have a longer rod and are riding on paths with low trees. But for most situations it works really well.
Overall if you’re looking for a universal rod holder then it’s hard to beat the quality at this price point!

Mounting was easy and works well on the bike. ABS mounting was poor, 2 mounting points were damaged on arrival. Easy fix to add a washer on the inside At the screw head.

Great quality and design but instructions are too inadequate.
For my kid’s bike , I used 3 of their butterfly bolts (came with 4). I put their washer under the butterfly on the front, and added my own tiny lock washer under their nut on the back side (for extra peace of mind). I aligned the flat side of the clamps against the holder. The holder doesn’t actually contact the bike at all; the rubber part of the clamp is always between the holder and the bike, so there won’t be any rattling while riding.
Good selection of 8 clamps to choose from; I used two 16mm and one 18mm. . True, no tools were needed. The included bungee cords holds the fishing pole very securely. The bungee won’t get lost since there’s a notch that won’t let it fall off. Takes patience to get the bolts lined up w/the holes in the clamps, but worth it.
Would deserve 5 stars if not for me having to figure out a lot of this on my own.

These are AWSOME . I’m glad I bought these . Love the bracket that mounts to the bike but also sits the poles a bit further away from the axle . My only complaint is I needed smaller clamps ,the ones included were too big so I had to buy smaller ones

This fits snugly on my ebike like it was always meant to be there. It holds two finish poles with ease, and installation took minutes. It comes with different sizes of padded clamps so you can make sure it sits nice and tight on the bike. The rods feel nice and sturdy as I’ve been biking along, admittedly mostly on wide sidewalks or bike lanes, but on the dirt roads going to the lake they haven’t been an issue! It functions exactly as it should, keeping the rods nice and secure while you bike around. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to carry my fishing rods while exploring a trail to a lake on my e-bike. Problem solved!
This carrier allows me to carry my fishing rods, for freshwater or surf rods. The rod holder is easy to install, doesn’t interfere with pedaling or my bike rack bag. Rubber clamps secure the rod holder and avoids scratching the paint.
