Gear User –
To preface this review, I’m a road cyclist and in good weather I ride about 200 miles a week, give or take. In the winter that dropped to 120-150. I ride pre-dawn, so that means temps are consistently in the teens. I did probably 15 rides this winter in single digits, including two 20 mile rides at 3°. I spent the mid to late fall trying to find gloves good enough to keep the wind, created by my speed traveling through the air, at bay while still allowing my hands to operate the brakes and gears. All gloves failed to do this. Mitts that go over the bars (hoods/drops) were the only solution. Don’t waste your money buying gloves if you are committed to riding through the winter. Get big mitts that fit over your handle bars. You can buy them on Amazon. With that in mind, here’s the review of these gloves!
These are pretty good. Not at all waterproof like the billboard across the index finger says. Water resistant for a bit, yes, but they will get soaked and become heavy in any extended moisture contact.
The padding is okay, not the best. The thickness is just on the boarder of being too thick to opperate road bike gear shifters but it does work. And that thickness is what will give you the most resistance fro mthe cold, which on a bike is created by the air flowing over your hand at speed for long periods of time. Again, as said in the preface, no gloves do that well in anything below 35 degrees, these are no exception, but they do a better job than most others I’ve tried.
Straps work good. Not going to be able to look at your watch though. Wipe area is soft. Washed several times, hung dry. Holding up really good. Price is a little high at $25, that is half way to the bar mitts that will actually do what all the cycling gloves claim but fail at, which is keeping your hands warm from the wind you are creating. I do use these under neither the bar mitts in extremely cold temps and the have kept my hands warm on those 20 mile 3 degree rides.
Not sure I’d buy these again knowing what I know now but they have worked given my uses and have held up to constant use all winter. I recommend them but keep in mind that for serious long duration winter riding at speed, these will fail to keep your hands warm by themselves, like all gloves.

First I will say I’m a hot blood by nature and rarely wear a heavy winter coat and I own 0 sweaters. If I keep my fingers and toes warm, I’m good in almost any condition. These gloves were tried out on a 35 degree day. The 25 mile ride produced cold top third of the fingers. The ends of the fingers became cold within the first 2 miles and remained so for the duration.
Bulky-yes these are really gloves and somewhat bulky. Their saving grace is they have palm padding which provides somewhat of a secure grip on the bars. Dexterity is similar to speaking with a frozen face. From the time you need to shift until you actually shift is delayed by the bulkiness and lack of “feel”, So, if you begin your shift before needed, you may hit it about right.
Velcro that- The wrist section covers nicely up the wrist. Stuffing your jersey sleeve underneath is easy until it isn’t. The first sleeve tucked under the glove is done with the free, non gloved hand, easy peasy. Now with the one glove on, good luck getting the other sleeve under the other glove. It’s much like figuring out the Rubik’s cube puzzle. It can take from one minute up to your entire ride time.
The velcro closures are clumsy and again difficult to adjust with the gloves on.
Protection- These gloves, by themselves do not provide decent protection from the cold given their sheer bulk. 45 degrees is about it. Other, less bulky gloves perform equally as well without the bulk.
Liner- The gloves have an internal fuzzy liner which is not attached to the glove. This is another awkward thing you have to deal with when removing the glove. I guess this is where the saying, “treat it with kid gloves”, came from.
***Separate Liner-By adding a pair of thin liners under the glove, the performance goes down to about 32 degrees. Fingers still get chilly, but not numb. In essence, the product can’t stand until another product is added to it. Disappointing.

I received the gloves in a big envelope. Inside was a very nice bag (like a toiletry bag) with the INBIKE logo, in black and blue. Excellent presentation. I ordered XL, although I’m normally L, and they fitted pretty good. So I recommend ordering one size bigger. The gloves look very nice and well made. I put them on for a ride at 54°F (12°C) and kept my hands warm the whole 1 hour outside. It seems they can handle lower temps, but I don’t go out below 50 anyway. During the ride I did not have any problem handling my MTB bike (braking or shifting). I was able to unlock my phone with them on, and opened apps and took pictures. Not good for typing, but I guess my screen is small and I cannot do it anyway with my normal gloves. In general, I think is a very good product for the price.

Gloves are very warm on cold rides. They are water proof, no leaking on rainy days. Still flexible enough to feel your controlls.
Not quite touch screen compatible, but it could be the specific screen protector on my phone.
The particular pair we received, the right glove had more gel padding than in the left. Not an extreme amount but it is noticeable. The Gel padding in general is real nice and appreciated, just a little odd to ride with different thicknesses when gripping. Would still recommend and buy again when they wear out. Hopefully will receive a more symmetrical pair next time.

I have used the gloves in 0 C (32 F) conditions and I found them to be warm and wind-proof. I expect that I could use them down to -5C (23F) without discomfort. The fit is snug enough that operating gears, and brakes is not an issue. One other cool feature is the ability to use a touch screen such as a phone of other device without removing your glove. –Recent update after 8 weeks of use, some surface wear showing.

I’ve read many reviews that it’s hard to take the gloves off and that the lining moves inside out. There’s a simple solution to that. You need to pinch the tips of the fingers of the glove, when taking them off. Works every time. These are the perfect gloves for cold weather, namely around 8°C and when windy, because they don’t squeeze your fingers and don’t hamper the blood circulation. I highly recommend these gloves. I bought 1 size up, and I’m glad I did because the gloves are a bit on the smaller size, and I don’t like tightly fit gloves.

According to the sizing chart, the size I required was ‘Medium’ which was crazy as I usually take ‘XL’.
I ordered ‘XL’ anyway and yet they are a little small. Good thing I didn’t order a ‘Medium’.
The lining is quite thick; will probably compress with time.

These are good gloves to keep your hands warm in 50-60°F. However, they are too bulky for MTB. I was riding and I had trouble moving my thumb to touch the shifting gears. It makes your ride unsafe. Sometimes the inside part of the gloves comes out once you remove the glove, and you have to work to put it back.
Overall, I need to look for another pair of gloves for MTB.

I’ve used these gloves 3 times so far. They fit well and are comfortable. The touchscreen function works well too.
My only complaint is they keep your fingers warm when it’s around 30 degrees F or higher, but they are too thin for colder weather. When I biked at 20 degrees F my fingers froze and I could not go more than 5 minutes throughout a 6 mile ride without stopping to warm up my fingers. Normally I stop once to warm up my fingers, then they are OK.
With these gloves i stopped multiple times to warm up my fingers. I normally use thick winter gloves or ski gloves for snow biking below 30 degrees F.

Pros and cons at the bottom.
A few months back, I got a pair of gloves from Inbike for riding in the summer, and the gloves were phenomenal. Because of this, I decided to get these winter gloves as I had a good experience with these guys.
Buying these gloves were a mistake in my opinion. My first time putting them on, they were super warm and comfortable, and fit great. My reason for this “do not recommend” review with these gloves starts with taking them off. Upon removing the gloves, the interior lining simply pulled itself out of the fingertips about 4 inches. Once I put my hands back in it, I was unable to get /any/ of my fingers back to the comforting place they belonged, resulting in an almost entire knuckle sized space being left vacant at the tip of each finger. I had to use a sharpy and pen throughout the night after each removal in order to get the lining back to where it needed to be. Even then, I was only able to get most fingers correctly positioned. No matter how hard I try, my thumb is stuck with a decent sized, awkward, amount of space.
The ability to use your thumb, unlike Inbikes other non-winter gloves, is just flat out useless. The thickness of the gloves results in you having to use the very tip of your thumb or finger in order to be precise on touching the screen, and most times the phone won’t register contact.
Pros:
Very warm(I bike for my job and my fingertips only started getting cold at about 25 F after 6 hours)
Very comfortable when they fit right.
Gel in hands eliminates strain.
Cons:
Does not function well with phones.
Lining constantly has to be fixed by inserting an object into each finger.
The velcro placements are useless and result in an awkward feeling on the wrist, especially when they fold inward.

Awesome gloves. I bought a second pair they keep you so warm. Beware though. The reason I bought a second pair. I got them near a salamander heater and they melted.
Dog’s Boy on the Sunny Southern OR Coast –
I ordered a large but this pair is too snug for comfort; an XL will likely be right. As with many Asian-made goods, they don’t properly adjust sizing to an American market.
The index fingers of both gloves say “waterproof,” as does the Amazon listing title. But the back of the instructions on the hang tag attached to the gloves says instead “windproof” (which it is pretty much). So, if you have real need for waterproof, you have a basis for a free return due to this defect.
I myself was aiming for some waterproof mid-weight gloves for wet 40-50 degree weather. These don’t cut it as they are not actually waterproof. Wet gloves after much of an hour in the rain are worse than no gloves at all.
As for the balance of the glove design, I like it. Finger tips for index & middle finger intended for touch screen use. Modest gel padding in appropriate places in the palm. Good velcro closure at wrist. If only they were waterproof..
7/20 update: Ordered a second pair after further experience with these. They don’t do wet well; they are definitely not waterproof despite that word is imbedded on the gloves. But they are warm and a reasonable price for what you get. Thus my purchase of a second pair. Just be absolutely sure to order a glove size larger, or even 2 sizes larger, to get a pair that truly fits you.

These gloves are fantastic! Can’t beat the price for the warmth they provide. Snug and warm on those cold morning rides. I plan on using these on my early Spring sailing adventures, too. I’ve read many reviews about the unattached lining in the fingers of these gloves. It happened to me the first time. Lining came out. Very frustrating. What one needs to do to remove the glove is pinch the tip of each finger to release that portion of it and SLOWLY remove your hand from the glove. It works for me. It will work for you. Suggestion to manufacturer/seller: Add a slip of paper with instructions to do just that. You won’t have any more returns.

These are great gloves for the money, I like really like them. They are very warm, too warm above 50F for me. I did a 2 hour road ride averaging around 18.5mph the other day when it was cold (for late March), 28F air temp and 10-15mph winds and still had warm hands at the end. The touch finger tips work on my phone screen, but as you can imagine not with a lot of accuracy. I am starting to wear-out the side of the right index finger a little (starting to look a little fuzzy), so I’m buying another pair to have ready just in case.
The velcro on the wrist is a little clumsy, especially if you take them on/off on-the-fly while riding, but a small price to pay for warm hands in cold temps. Anyone who bikes in the cold know that hands and feet are the two toughest things to keep warm, and these gloves take care of one of those for me.

I like these as general winter gloves, perhaps for skiing, snowboarding, general use. These were terrible for cycling. The lining slips around inside the fingers making for a dangerous grip on the handlebars when climbing or riding over rough terrain. Also due to the lining they are extremely tedious to get on if hands are slightly wet or cold and stiff as the lining can bunch inside the glove. If you’re out riding in the rain / cold and need to take a glove off it is a real hassle getting it back on, I wasn’t able to just slip into it.
The gel pads on the palms were digging into my hands enough to cause pain and numbness over the course of a 20 mile ride and didn’t provide any useful cushioning.
Overall 3 star because glove is comfortable and well made for price, I just won’t ever use them for cycling again.

(I bought 2xl and the fit was perfect)

According to the sizing chart, the size I required was ‘Medium’ which was crazy as I usually take ‘XL’.
I ordered ‘XL’ anyway and yet they are a little small. Good thing I didn’t order a ‘Medium’.
The lining is quite thick; will probably compress with time.
