  1. david robinson –

I was sceptical at first seeing how thin these were.. however the gloves do keep my entire hand from finger tip to base of my hand front and back warm. The only thing I wish is the battery lasted longer.. I will be purchasing a backup battery because I spend a lot of time outdoors and like to keep my hands warm. Excellent product. Very happy.

Update: The replacement liners failed again at the fingertips. Make sure you test early before needing them. They seem to fail while in storage for some reason. 2 pairs now. Expect 1 or 2 seasons maximum. Wish I could drop half a star. They still work great when they work.

I bought these liners for my wife as she is a city worker in the landscaping department in Western Canada. She loves them and uses them daily. She said they have changed her life. Her hands were always cold and she’s been using heat packs for the last 3 years. Instead of warming one spot in her gloves they heat all her fingers. The only downside is they won’t produce enough heat if they get wet. She needs to find a pair of waterproof gloves to wear over top but that isn’t unexpected.

The customer service is amazing. Prior to this fall season she tested her gloves to make sure they were still functioning and the left one was not heating. As they have a 1 year warranty I emailed the company who requested photo proof and within 2 days of sending the pictures a new set of gloves was delivered under warranty. That is probably the best customer service I’ve ever had.

  3. Tarcy –

The idea is great. The concept is there. The design is flawed.
They’re more like glorified wrist warmers. There is no heating element that goes down each individual finger and the gloves themselves are very thin so they do not retain much heat. I will say the battery charged quickly. The battery was easy to install and it did seem to warm up to a good temperature around my wrists and the batteries lasted several hours.
But my fingers were freezing in 20 minutes without touching anything just from being outside. Maybe if you were going to wear them in and out of your car or an office building they’d be adequate but for me to just wear them around outside in the yard or to go shovel they were not warm

  4. JT –

The cuffs are very tight even before the battery. I have pretty big hands compared to my wrists and putting them on i need to squeeze my hand in without the batteries in the cuffs but after that they fit perfect. The batteries get in the way a bit but not too bad, just look weird. If you wear a watch or have a coat with tight wrists (i have both) dont bother with these as a watch is out of the question with these and you cant overlap the sleeves and gloves without the battery cutting off circulation, even with my small wrists. The touch screen works better than i could have hoped for on a glove. Ive only used 1 mild day so i didnt use the heating much and therefor cant speak to real cold or battery life yet, but when i used them inside another pair of hlives they got real toasty. Keep in mind if you are buying to use these as your only gloves to have warm and dexterous hands they are not water proof. Definatly made to use inside a gauntlet style glove. Probably sending them back because of the watch thing but over all pretty good if you dont use one.

I’m updating this review, but not the 1-star rating. I got these for my son for Christmas to wear in the drive-thru outside at his job at a famous chicken franchise. He has Reynaud’s Syndrome, so his hands have circulation issues in the cold. After a few weeks, I asked him if these gloves helped and he said no, they don’t work, they don’t do anything. I mistakenly thought that meant they were defective, but he didn’t give them back to me to send back until the return window had expired.

What he should have told me was that they light up, but they do very very little to heat up and are effectively useless in a cold environment. My wife just tried them and they DO light up, and after 10 minutes or so she WAS able to sense some heat (on the backs of her hands only) – she also has Reynaud’s. But this was sitting on the cough in our warm home – NOT outside in the cold where you would NEED heated gloves.

So yes, these DO work in terms of they do turn on and put out some heat – but most assuredly NOT enough to make a difference outdoors in any cold environment, and even in a moderately cold outside environment, they make absolutely ZERO difference. When I say moderately cold, I mean like 40s or 50s outside, not even below freezing. DON’T waste your money, this was probably the worst $125 or so I’ve spent.

This is a gimmick product with poor performance and zero utility for its intended purpose.

Gloves are not warm enough even when fully charged and set to max heat . Returned for refund

    They work great.

I was looking for a solution to cold hands when doing early morning bike rides down to 10F. Regular winter cycling gloves were only good down to around 32F. Regular heated gloves didn’t seem to combine much insulation with the heating elements so they were only barely warm on the backs of the hands with the wind created by traveling at 20mph. My palms and fingertips still froze. These liners, worn inside a fully insulated ski glove, has provided the solution.

I have rather large hands (I’m 6’5″) but found the XL/XXL size liners to be a decent fit. The grippy palms and fingers might be useful when wearing these liner gloves alone, but they make putting them inside regular gloves a bit challenging. Still, I found a pair of VERY large ski gloves (made by Gordini, size XXL) which worked to go over these liners. The result? Ahhhhh. Warm hands at last.

The touch screen fingertips work well if I want to stop and take a picture or otherwise access my phone.

Why not 5 stars? Battery life. After a few weeks of near daily use, the gloves only seem to run on High for 30-45 minutes on a full charge – hardly the 2-2.5 hours claimed. The seller says they will send me a new set of batteries.

I’ve waited some time to write this review to see how the gloves would hold up. It’s been close to 5 months now. I can honestly say that these gloves are exceptional. I have long dealt with Raynaud’s in my hands, making cold weather activities sometimes very uncomfortable. This issue is especially problematic, since I bike everywhere at nearly all times (e.g. used to commute 30+ miles through snowstorms in Cleveland in January) in my day-to-day life. I live in the mountains of Colorado now, where morning temperatures are often in the single digits and teens. I used to ride with a well-concocted but cumbersome layering system of five different sets of gloves and mittens. Effective but annoying, especially if I needed to remove my layers for some reason, releasing my warmth and invariably leading to quite the discomforting ride.

This year, I decided to look into active warming gloves. I shopped around a bit on Amazon, finally landing on these gloves from Sun Will. They have, quite honestly, changed my life. Now, I can leave the house barehanded regardless of the temperature because I know that within just a few minutes my hands will be enveloped by a pocket of warmth. It’s really amazing. I usually wear surgical gloves underneath, just FYI, to protect the gloves from sweat but also to add a layer of insulation. Either way, the Sun Will gloves have made my morning commute (at times down to near zero this winter) so much easier. When it gets super cold, I can still feel the cold, but it does not matter because the gloves actively counteract my hands actually getting cold, which I think makes sense. Anyway, riding, walking to town, and hiking this winter have been more pleasant than any winter I can remember–more pleasant because my hands are warm but also because I do not stress out about the thought of them possibly getting cold. Honestly, changed my life!

By the way, I did buy an extra set of batteries to keep charged and ready. I have found the battery life to be as indicated in the product description, which is quite good, but the peace of mind of another set has released my stress even further.

Finally, I should note that I recently had an issue with one of the gloves. I note this because I did have some hesitancy ordering in the first place, just because Sun Will is not well-known (or was not to me), and I worried about customer service should I have a problem with them. So, when my issue with the one glove started last week, I freaked out a bit (see description of discomfort above), but went ahead and wrote Sun Will a detailed explanation of my issue through the Amazon “communicate with the seller” option. Instead of becoming lost in the netherworld of the Internet, as I had feared a little, I was very happy less than 12 hours later to receive a response that was courteous and direct. Long story short, my problem was resolved–to my advantage–in two emails. Gotta say, extremely impressed with this level of service. Extremely impressed!

I am sure I will have need for outdoor items like these gloves in the coming years. Other family members also deal with Raynaud’s. I will be very happy to buy more gloves, socks, and other products from Sun Will. These gloves are very well-made, and, again, the service I received was exceptional!

When the temperature is above 35 degrees F they work great. Unfortunately any temperature below they do not keep your hands warm. Especially your fingers above the top knuckle. And when the weather dips into the teens it’s almost as if you aren’t wearing gloves at all. I’m wondering if the Black (Thicker) version of these Sun Will heated gloves would do the job. Unfortunately for me I purchased them before it got into the lower temps and I passed the date that Sun Will (or Amazon) will allow me to exchange them for the (almost certainly) warmer pair they sell. Who knows maybe someone from Sun Will company (or Amazon) will read this and reach out to me to help me with an exchange of the gloves. BTW, I would like to add the the touchscreen capability, battery life, and comfort are Absolutely Top Notch!! If it didn’t get so cold in the dead of winter here I would give the Sun Will gloves I purchased not 5 but 10,000 stars! If it doesn’t dip below the mid 30s in your area I highly recommend these gloves.

  11. B C –

Nice and warm! Battery ran out after 3.5 hours on medium. So spare batteries are a must. I have short fingers and do not have long fingernails so the fingers in the gloves are too long which reduces the ability to use a touchscreen. I purchased XS but the fingers and thumb are 1/2 inch too long sadly; hence the three stars.

  12. Mordechai Braun –

I’m working construction outside and this is finally the glove that keeps warm your hands & fingers! (Even when it’s not working it’s also pretty warm!)
It’s comfortable and not bulky making easier to work with detail
    But.. it’s not so strug
You have to set it to the strongest level that it should really help
If you’re on the construction site and you don’t have an outlet ‐ is a bit of problem..
You charge it 2 & a half hours & it’s working only 2/2 & a half hours (on the srongest level)..! That’s really annoying – and to bye another pair of batteries is very expensive.. so that’s quite silly..

Life saver! I have Reynaud’s in my hands and these work perfect for preventing that when its cold outside. Make sure to measure for size as these run big. I have smaller hands but had to get the xxs size to fit me. Overall great purchase!

  16. Ryan –

HORRIBLE! For how expensive these are, they aren’t even insulated by themselves and rely solely on the heating elements (which even on high heat BARELY even work). I kept them on when I was outside for 35 mins and the entire time I kept questioning if they were even on. The battery compartment is also super bulky and presses against your wrists making it very uncomfortable if you’re a skiing or doing anything that involves your wrists.

Will be getting my money back.

I praised these gloves, and the same day I praised them, they broke. The left one is hot, but the right one is not. I emailed the company, and they said to send a video. The video wasn’t able to upload, so their response was to just never get back to me again.

They ran away, and I have never heard from them since. They gave me a detective glove.

Stay clear of this scam and buy the good $200 leather one that will last you forever if you are careful with it. Go buy refridawear or actionheat for decent gloves that actually work.

  20. Syl –

One of my best purchases…ever! These gloves will keep your hands comfortably warm in extreme cold temperatures. Worth every penny.

All stars are for their customer service.

The gloves did not work for me. My star rating for the product is 1.

Unfortunately the gloves themselves did not heat my hand. They fit very loose. My glove size varies by make/ model but typically xxl or xl. The xl in these are baggy on my hand.

They are described as liners but they are thick. They do not fit under my outer shell gloves.

The heating element got hot on the upper thumb area of my hand but I couldn’t feel the heat anywhere else.

I bought these for motorcycle driving. I used these in 54 degree weather. The glove itself had some warmth so I wasn’t too bad to wear. That being said I did not feel any produced heat from the heating coils at all. I’m also curious about the battery life. I ride for two hours with the gloves on full power and it seemed the batteries were on their last leg.

  26. BeyondRetirement –

I thought these would be great for keeping my hands warm while I work in my office, but I found them a bit too thick for desk work. However, they’re perfect for driving!

  27. L Johnson –

I have Raynauds syndrome and use these when my hands are getting too cold, which can happen at any time of the year. I like that they are not bulky as they are very thin, and they provide just enough heat to keep my hands warm without burning me or making me feel too hot. I haven’t had them long enough to make a judgment about the battery life, But so far I’ve been able to wear them for several hours with no issues.

The gloves come in very nice packaging with a wall outlet that charges both batteries at the same time and a convenient bag to keep everything together when not in use.

Sun will sports provided excellent customer service. The instructions cover two types of gloves with the first type requiring a remote and the second type having a small rubber emblem to toggle to gloves on low, medium, and high power. The emblem lights up different colors representing each level of heat as well. The way the directions read was not clear and I thought these required a remote and that I had received a product with a missing item, so I requested a refund. they quickly responded to my request and provided a refund and explained that the gloves did not require a remote. After my husband and I both reread the directions several times we realized one step on the bottom addressed how to use the second type of glove which is what I had. I then contacted the seller and ask them to cancel my refund request as the gloves are working great! They responded and said they had already granted the refund and the gloves were mine to keep regardless, Which I thought was extremely generous considering I was the one who couldn’t figure out how to turn them on.

Ordering the gloves is confusing because there are different types of gloves merely designated as “black-02, black-03” etc. The image shows different textures but there’s no description to indicate the differences. I ordered Black-02 and they work well. Measuring your hand accurately is key.

You cannot pick up a coin with these or even type on a keyboard properly unless you do the two-finger approach because they are too thick for that. However, the finger tips do have different material that work adequately or barely on touch sensitive phones and tablets.

The On-OFF power switches are on the cuffs and are bright lights especially in a darkened room. They are easy to press with a medium degree of pressure.

Although effective, most of the heating takes place at the back of the hand and fingers.

There are three levels of power/heating.

Initially the gloves need to be charged for at least 4 hours. The gloves do lose their charge if they sit unused for three or four days.
The biggest problem with the gloves is that the batteries are too thick and once they are inserted into the glove cuffs, it becomes really difficult to put them on. The bulk of the batteries really tightens the space for your hands to fit and it becomes difficult. Imperfect and annoying at best although still workable. Otherwise the gloves fit perfectly.

Its important to read the manual thats come with them! The listing doesn’t tell you that after 5 mins they switch from high to medium but once you change it back to high it stays. I use these under my motorcyle gloves on cold days and couldn’t figure out why I left on high but arrived on medium. I also found I get more battery life if I unplug the batteries when not in use but the battery life is pretty good! I only use these on high so I’m sure other settings they last longer but I can make my 20min ride to work all week on one charge. Riding in 22 degree weather with basic leather gloves over them my hands weren’t warm but they definitely weren’t cold at 85mph. They’re comfortable even if the battery makes them slightly bulky under layers, I wish they were located on the outside of the arm cause they can feel in the way trying to get into pockets. Overall I really like these gloves, game changer for cold weather riding!

These gloves are expensive (imo) so I was happy to see the quality in the unboxing. The gloves are elegant. The batteries are well hidden and easy to get out for recharging. The batteries are not heavy, which was a concern, and the gloves look good. They are thin, not bulky (also a concern when ordered). The glove does not get really “hot” but will keep the chill off of my hands. We had -14F degrees the past week and the gloves were able to keep my hands comfortable.

  45. Great product –

I bought these and used them for work in extreme cold weather
    They barely warm your hands
They also ripped after three hours of me wearing them (this was during work but I WAS NOT USING THEM INTENSELY AT ALL, they just ripped because they are super fragile
They ripped near the thumb and one more spot ( i forgot where second rip was)
The battery lasted no more than about 6 hours on the lowest setting
And the lowest setting doesnt feel even the slightest bit warm

  46. Amazon Customer –

I purchased these for my boyfriend when he cycles in winter. Can’t keep that man off that bike, but al least his hands are warm. He said that worked great.

  47. AJ from Boston –

Total crap or defective. I bought two of these – one for me and another for my teenager to wear to an outdoor night time NFL game. Battery died within an hour. We both barely any heating from the gloves even on “High” setting. Returning to amazon.

  48. L Johnson –

Very happy.

  49. JJames –

I purchased these for my son who works outside all day in cold weather. They allow him to use a phone or tablet while wearing them. He says they work great!

  50. Garet –

Love these when they work. Second season of using them and battery is inconsistent (sometimes I get many hours sometimes I get 1hr). One glover overheated the other day to the point of burning my hand, and now doesn’t work at all.

  51. fbtenor –

I have MS and my right hand is always freezing as well as tingling from neuropathy.
I bought these gloves to help keep my hand warm. They work great!
I did buy the extended batteries which add about a third more time per charge.
The charging cable charges two batteries as once, so I keep two on the charger and two with me all the time.
The longer batteries are better to wear during the night while I am sleeping.
I also use them on the medium setting so the batteries last longer each use.
The company is sending me a replacement set because my glove is no longer heating.
If this one wears out, I will buy another pair from this same company! They immediately responded to my request and offered a free replacement.
I won’t accept more than one free pair though. I appreciate having something that works for me and is so useful.
I really like how thin these are, which of course they are designed to be worn other heavy gloves, but I find it nice to have them be so thin.
    Definite recommend!

Gloves are not warm enough even when fully charged and set to max heat . Returned for refund

  54. Arthur Schwabe –

This is a joke!! Fingers have thin cloth there is no heating at all. Hard to get on. The heat setting are for show only they don’t heat anything. Don’t waste your money! I gave it one star but they didn’t anything lower!!

  57. Kevin West –

I was very excited to order these after the holiday. I have been looking for heated gloves for some time now. Overall the glove is a lot of things. They are true to size, they are comfortable, and they are made from a nice material that feels good on your hands. If we were talking about a nice lightweight glove I would 100% recommend them however we are not.

As a heated glove, these fall short. First, the placement of the battery is horrible but I am not quite sure where else they would put it. The battery is located on the wrist. There are two big problems with this. The first issue is that you will find it hard to wear a watch and gloves at the same time, even with a larger size glove the watch does not work. Secondly, the portion of the glove around the wrist is incredibly tight. So tight that you could feel the blood flow being restricted after wearing the glove for a bit. When the battery is inserted into the pocket in the wrist it is too small for even my tiny wrist. Second, honestly, the gloves do not get very warm. Unless I have these gloves on the highest setting I would not know they are on. I thought they were broken until I sat there for 5 minutes playing with the settings … About 2 minutes on the highest setting and ba I had heat.

Not impressed, wouldn’t recommend for a heated glove option. Sad really because they are comfortable without the battery… and with the battery in they are not warm enough to ignore the tightness around the wrist.

  58. patrick –

Giving this a 1 star because they just suck all around. Worst thing about these gloves is the price! 100 dollars for some cheap made in China batteries. Do not waste your money on these gloves. I work at the airport and in the winter my hands will go completely numb working outside. I bought these “liners” to go under my plastic fur lined waterproof gloves. The liners are absolutely horrible they barely get warm and the heat they do produce dissipates in the cold winter air even though they are worn under a heavy glove. The battery life is also bad they have a life span of about 45 mins and they take about an hour to an hour half to fully charge. Don’t even try to wear these gloves without putting another glove over them they are paper thin and will get wet and hold the moisture in the fabric. The batteries are pretty big also and are super annoying to have in the wrist pocket of the gloves because they bounce around in the pocket.

  59. Kindle Customer –

I work in a freezer and my fingers were constantly cold and numb. This product did the trick my fingers are toasty warm. No more tingling and freezing. Best product. The coils go around your fingers and keep them warm. Highly recommend. The only bad thing is the batteies don’t last long. So I invested in different batteries that last longer.

  60. Richard –

I bought these for my sister who works at a grocery store and has to stick in the dairy section. Her fingers would be so cold they’d turn white, even with regular gloves on. With these her fingers now stay warm and are thin enough to still work comfortably at grasping and with the finger thumb still able to work the scanner for location. So these are not just for outdoor activity but for those who work in the cold inside stores/factories etc! She is so appreciative of such an amazing product that helps her get through her job! Thank you! So much! I’ll be ordering a pair for myself as well!!

  62. Luke –

Nevermind the heated steering wheel. These solve that problem. Also just generally being out in the winter and once your fingers get bone numbingly cold – you’re just miserable all over. With warm hands – winter is fun again.

  63. Amazon Customer –

The light lights up, other than that, on the warmest setting, I cannot tell the difference between these gloves and any other pair of non heated gloves I have worn.

Simply not worth it. Returned them immediately.

This review is for the Black(thin) model: I heartily vouch for this product!! After using these for about a month in sub freezing temperatures, Ive found them to be perfect for running outdoors in the wintertime. In prior years, I have just been tolerating the extreme pain of frozen fingers during the first half hour of distance running 2 or 3 hours on the ice, but now with these gloves, the problem is gone. The temperature ranges used have been from 5 to 25 degrees with winds to 20 mph so far. I dont have any doubts that these would work great even below zero because they heat so well. Of course your results could vary, and only you can determine if they are safe to use. They ventilate sweat perfectly, and dry quickly ovetnight. They also can be machine washed, if desired. I view them as having about the same impact and longevity as a pair of premium running shoes and consider them to be essential for healthy winter training. Thanks Amazon for offering this fantastic product!!!

Gloves work fine , but battery started losing life after 4 months and 5 months in one glove stopped charging. For this reason , I would not recommend them.

Like these gloves because unlike the usual hand warmer packets, these gloves keep your hands warm right to the finger tips.

These work like a champ! I have raynauds….was leary that any such thing as these gloves would work. I tried them for the first time today and am soooo impressed. It took about 5 minutes of wearing the gloves to feel the difference! So glad I got these. I pray the battery system will hold up. Wow…am I impressed with these

  71. Veronica W. –

I have Raynaud’s and need some extra warmth to keep my fingers from losing feeling in the cold. I’ve only used these in 30 degrees, so not terribly cold. These help a little but not as much as I’d hoped. They only work on high; the low and medium settings do essentially nothing. The warmth is pretty concentrated at the back of the hand; the fingers have very little warmth at all. The battery life is pretty poor. On high, they only last about an hour and a half. They definitely do less than I’d hoped.

  72. Pierre B. –

good product but keep fingers warm not hot

I thought these would be great for keeping my hands warm while I work in my office, but I found them a bit too thick for desk work. However, they’re perfect for driving!

These gloves are not worth all the hype. Although they work great on high heat, the battery life in my gloves only last about an hour. My hands are not meant for the cold so anything less than high heat and I don’t feel anything. Work great when the batteries are charged but takes a while to charge them from empty. My overall opinion is they aren’t worth the price for what they do.

I have Raynauds and live in the Midwest. I purchased a pair of these gloves hoping they would help. I ordered the glove liners because I wanted to use them for driving. I received the gloves and they did a great job of keeping my fingers warm enough to not set off the Raynauds. But they were really big on me and that was the XS-S pair. I contacted the company and after a few emails, they sent me an XXS pair that are perfect. It did take me asking a few times, but the product is so good that it was worth it. The company did back the gloves 100%. I would say to order smaller than you think you’d need. The battery pack is klunky, but again, the product is worth it.

  9. Gregory E. Pierce –

  10. Michael Pellegrini –

That’s really annoying – and to bye another pair of batteries is very expensive.. so that’s quite silly..
    .

  13. Gregory E. Pierce –

Very happy.

  15. Kassandra McGilton –

  17. Morning cyclist –

  19. Morning cyclist –

The customer service/ care is the best I’ve experienced. They worked very hard to help me get what I needed. They communicated with me frequently and followed up with me to ensure I was satisfied.

  30. Tarcy –

  31. J –

  34. Todd Johnson –

  54. Arthur Schwabe –

This is a joke!! Fingers have thin cloth there is no heating at all. Hard to get on. The heat setting are for show only they don’t heat anything. Don’t waste your money! I gave it one star but they didn’t anything lower!!

Nevermind the heated steering wheel. These solve that problem. Also just generally being out in the winter and once your fingers get bone numbingly cold – you’re just miserable all over. With warm hands – winter is fun again.

They definitely do less than I’d hoped.

good product but keep fingers warm not hot

I thought these would be great for keeping my hands warm while I work in my office, but I found them a bit too thick for desk work. However, they’re perfect for driving!

Very happy.

Gloves heat up after being charged but not worth the price. I would not recommend.
