Mounted on my Aventon e-bike. Mounted it a bit inside the handlebar area to put the mirror directly over my left hand. Plenty of room and I can see behind me. Good product.

I found this product, very helpful when riding on the bike path. I had to move a little bit to the side to see well, but I could still see. Very happy with my purchase. I got a pair of them so I can see on either side. Love the blue glaze.

I initially installed this mirror above the handlebar of my bike. As other reviews said I noticed that my left side and arm blocked a considerable amount of the mirror.
So, I took the lead from another reviewer and tried mounting it below the handlebar. Now I can see the entire mirror without obstruction.
I really like that the mirror attached to the bar via a ball joint. This allows me to adjust it in multiple directions as necessary.
The blue anti-glare finish is really nice for when I ride at night. It keeps the glare from car headlights to a minimum.
I also like how the mirror has a very widespread view, just like a car mirror. Not only can I see cars approaching, I can see much more than just two lanes.
The best part about having the mirror is not having to turn my body around to the left anymore to see if a car is approaching. Now I can just glance down when necessary and keep my focus on the road in front of me.
Glad I bought this, should have picked one up a long time ago.

I got right and left both. I was nervous on my e-bike to look behind me for cars when turning left. With both sides mirrored I can see traffic approaching from way back so no need to shoulder check. Nice, adjustable, really glad I got them.

They look great on the bike and add both safety and elegance to your bike, setting you a step above other bikes without. No need to keep turning your head back. I kept the shipping plastic adhered to the mirrors as it added an extra layer over the glass. As with any ball joint mirrors, they will have a tendency to shift angles while riding because of vibration and pot holes, but they stay pretty tight. Well worth the purchase just for safety. Very happy.
Carlyn –
This was super easy to install. At first, I didn’t have the mirror hex nut tight enough and it kept jiggling out of adjustment. Once, I tightened it more, the mirror is still easy to adjust to exactly how I want it and it stays put. Gives me a clear view to what is behind me.
GLN –
I originally bought this to help see behind me while riding my bike as I am deaf on one side. this mirror only fit on the right side of my handlebars and had very minimal flexibility or range. once i found the best ok place, the movement of the bike caused it to go in a different position
Collin –
It’s an amazing product, easy to install, incredibly stable on my bike, and has perfect visibility. Unfortunately, It did NOT survive me making a right turn at night, and the road ended. However, it didn’t shatter and send glass everywhere, instead it mostly held its shape while cracks simply filled the mirror. It may be useless now, but It did not cause extra harm in the crash.
Lab –
Mounts easily, works well. Far enough lateral to see well but doesn’t stick out too far to be a nuisance.

Easy to put in electric bike, tool provided. Adjustable mirror. Lightweight. What I love, I can fold it in so I can carry my bike up/down stairs without it accidentally hitting the wall. Worth the price. Sturdy materials. Easy to adjust when I’m riding.

I replaced the bar end mirrors on my Lectric XPress ebike with this Hafny handlebar mounted mirror. I can see traffic coming from behind me much better now. The Hafny mirror is well constructed and sturdy. The bar end mirros kept getting knocked out of position easily but the Hafny mirror does not have this problem. I can now move my ebike out of the garage between the vehicles much easier too. The Hafny mirror is well worth the money and it looks great on my XPress ebike too. It installed easily and the mirror is very clear. I highly recommend the Hafny mirror.

Fits & adjusts easily. Stable reflection. Required some tightening a few weeks after initial installation but that was in 2022 and its still performing very well.

I bought this mirror specifically because I didn’t want to install a bar end mirror and cut into the expensive replacement grips on my Trek Marlin. The aluminum bracket and mouthing hardware is nice enough, and mounts up quickly. The black finish is nice. But the real letdown in the mirror. When I first saw it online, I though it was cool, but the funky shape leaves you with a narrow field of view that is ALMOST worthless. It’s small. Look at the dimensions listed, and you’ll notice that the 5.5″ length is the length of the housing, not the mirror surface. And the 2.45″ listed height is the mirror at its tallest point (the rest of the mirror is smaller than that). Coupled with the low rise bracket, the mirror lets you view a VERY small slice of the road to your right or left – hardly confidence inspiring. I adjusted it a hundred different ways. I tried flipping it around and mounting it upside down (underneath the handlebar) and that was even worse. Yeah, it looks good in the pics, but for me, it was a total letdown. If you have the option, buy a standard bar end mirror with a 3″ round face, and leave this wonky looking thing to riders who don’t actually need to see much behind them. Not worth the price, especially since a Mirrycle bar end is at least $10 less and WAY more functional. Guess I’ll be cutting into my grips after all. UPDATE: So I’ve ridden with this mirror a few times both on and off road, and I stand by my original review. The mounting bracket is cool and the funky shape might work for some, but it’s not a great mirror mainly because of the field of view. In my opinion it’s too narrow for street use.

I purchased 2 left side mirrors for our two e bikes. They are exactly what we had hoped for. They were easy to install, and the quality is remarkable. There’s plenty of adjustment for any sized rider. I’m glad I chose these when I was researching bike mirrors.

This is a good rear-view mirror. Solid mounting; ball joint adjustment holds well but can still be fiddled by hand.
I give four stars rather than five because a flat mirror would be better than the slight curve: Approaching cars appear more distant than they are, and I’ve found it hard to adapt. It’s also a bit small; you need to get it aimed just right.
The mirror is designed for flat handlebars, but works fine mounted on the drop just below the brake lever. This gives a better view than a mirror mounted at the low end of a dropped handlebar.
You’ll like this position if you ride mostly on the drops. If you ride with your hands on the hoods over the brake levers, you’ll find that the mirror interferes noticeably.

Seems like a good quality mirror, well made and a decent price. The two issues I had were that the arm was too short so I have to take my hand off the handlebar and move my arm to see well. Also the blue anti-reflective coating seems like a great idea however I had a hard time seeing my riding partner behind me because the blue tint made them blend in with the road.

These bicycle mirrors are exactly what I needed for peace of mind while riding. The glass is crystal clear with no distortion, and the wide-angle coverage lets me easily see traffic, other riders, or anything approaching from behind. They adjust smoothly but stay firmly in place once positioned — no wobbling, even on bumpy roads.
The build quality feels premium: sturdy arms, solid clamps, and no cheap plastic vibes. Installation was quick and secure on my handlebars, and the mirrors haven’t shifted after multiple rides. Plus, the blue-tinted glass reduces glare on sunny days, which is a big bonus.
I’ve found they don’t just add safety — they make riding more relaxing because I’m not constantly looking over my shoulder. If you value awareness and want mirrors that look sleek and work flawlessly, these are a perfect choice.

I did not get the anti-glare one. One other reviewer said it darkens the reflection. So for late day riding, maybe not the best option.
It’s attached to my left handlebar (exactly as designed) and the band that attaches to the bar is a little over 1/2 inch wide. Some people may not have a lot of space available. Mine (an Electra Townie) was limited but there’s just enough space. The fact that the mirror itself is adjustable in all directions and can be pushed back out of the way for storage is great if space where you store is a problem.
Yes, you’ll occasionally (not every ride unless you hit a lot of bumps) need to use your metric Allen wrench to tighten the fitting because reason dictates it will eventually loosen, over time. No biggie, as long as you don’t over-tighten it (always a possibility if you get carried away.)
The placement is just outside of my hand and arm and easily seen from my seated position. I used to ride motorcycles so this (IMO) is far better than a mirror attached to your glasses or helmet. The design is such that it doesn’t catch a lot of wind and doesn’t “jump out at you.” The wide-angle is great. I personally like the design, (more modern) and the material appears to be quality, yet sufficiently light in weight. This attaches relatively quickly (there are video’s online) and, once in place, unlike where the mirror is adjusted, it should stay put. I’ve not had to retighten that piece.
Reasonably priced.

This is the best rear view mirror for cycling I have ever used. I have been an avid cyclist since the mid 1960s and have used mirrors mounted on eye glasses, helmets, bar-end type, and handlebars. So why is this one better than any other? It offers a clear view to the rear of course, it stays put – meaning it doesn’t go out of adjustment – and it was easy to install. We now have them on three bikes. Finally, it is very fairly priced.

This is the best thing that happened to my bicycle riding experience. I ride on a very busy street and having the ability to see traffic behind me is invaluable. The mirror itself is crystal clear…that was the first thing that I was so impressed with. It is clearer than my make-up mirror and that says a lot! And the range that I can see behind me is perfect for any reaction I need to make. The field of vision is just large enough. There is absolutely no obstruction of the view from my body. I have a new ebike and It fits perfectly next to my power assist button. It is well made, of a very strong nylon-fiber material which is sleek and stylish. This item definitely deserves five stars but there were no directions included in the in the shipment so I had to look at another site just to see how it fits together. And it is very simple to install once you see how it fits together. There are basically only three parts: the round part that fits on the handlebar, the mirror itself with attached stem, and one screw. Also someone on this site was kind enough to give me very specific directions not how to attach it. But, until this item comes with installation instructions it should not get five stars.

Average Consumer insight –
This was a breeze to install/attach. Unfortunately, the arm is a bit shorter than it should be (for my trail bike), and my arm obstructs a clear view behind me. This leaves me without the ability to view a large portion of what is behind me. Moreover, the mounting mechanism is constructed in a way that only allows this to be mounted on the left hand side of the bar. Though this is easily adjustable, and can be fully secured without damaging the bolt/threads/clamp, it could have been designed a little better from a consumer preference standpoint. I am all about choices and options, and the fact that this can only be mounted correctly to the left merits the removal of one star. The arm of the mirror has a slight protrusion where it inserts into the receptacle clamp, forcing the installation to the left. If this same protrusion could be duplicated 180 degrees, and the arm made flexible for curvature outward/inward (though still stiff), this would correct the only design flaw I was able to detect, overall. The length of the arm is not something I’d honestly call a design flaw, but a personal preference, as I can still see behind me. It just doesn’t provide as wide a view backward as I would like. Others, however, might consider this a design flaw, if having a wider view behind them is important to them. On the converse, however, a longer arm would also create additional protrusion beyond the outermost reach of the handle bar, so this is something of a trade-off, in that respect. Given that there are subjective pro/con factors for each, I am not going to detract based on this portion. Again, this would simply be a preference, on my part, which may not coincide with those of other consumers…

Superb product with 3 big advantages over many other mirrors:

I tried a couple of handlebar mirrors. My previous one was about half the price of this one but the clamp kept on failing until I eventually had to just take it off, also even when it was fitted it was difficult to adjust and get it in the rite position.
This mirror has a very good arm and handlebar clamp on it. I have my mirror underslung on my right hand side as having it upright would not be practical for my riding position. It is very easy to adjust as it has a ball joint on the end which gives you a wide and easy range to adjust it into the correct position. It’s also quite solid, even going over heavy bumps and off road it does not wobble or move out of alignment.
The mirror itself has a wide view (convex) and it produces a very clear image, this also makes it easier to adjust as having it slightly misaligned will not matter as the mirror has a wider view anyway. The style of the mirror and arm looks good, it has a sleek look to it.
Over all its a good piece of kit, I recommend it, and it is definitely worth the higher price tag!

Hallo Quatschmann –
This is a great little mirror. It was super easy to install and remains secured in place when tightened appropriately using the included Allen key. The mirror itself is easy to move around to get the perfect rear view for you, but it doesn’t droop or turn on its own. The mirror is large and clear enough to see any vehicles approaching from behind at a glance. As recommended, attach the mirror as close to the hand grip as possible for maximum visibility. I can’t think of any way this mirror could be any better. It was a good purchase.

These little mirrors work great on my bikes. There are multiple ways to adjust it to get it just right. I have fallen many times or rode too close to something and whacked the mirror, but it just pivots out of the way and has not broken at all. So when you mount the mirror don’t tighten it down all the way. You want it tight enough so it doesn’t move much when you hit bumps but it helps to be able to adjust it against a little tension while you ride, and also so when you whack it on something it can easily pivot.

I’ve been riding bikes for 75 years and this is by far the best mirror I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a whole lot of them. As an engineer, I’m impressed by it’s sleek and functional example of excellent industrial design. More importantly, it works extremely well. It has just enough de-magnification to provide a good field of view but not so much that things are too small to see. I installed mine in the under-handlebar position which keeps my body parts out of the view and I highly recommend this mounting.
A few reviewers have complained about theirs vibrating out of position but I snugged up both the clamp and the mirror head screws and have had absolutely no stability problems on the badly fissured and frost-heaved asphalt highway adjacent my home which I’m cruising at 15-20 mph on my Specialized E bike. Along a bit of my route I must ride alongside a guard rail with 2 feet of shoulder while semis whiz by at 60 mph and I’m able to see them coming in plenty of time to prepare myself for their air blast.
A few more reviewers complained that the installation was a bit fiddly but if this octogenarian could manage it without difficulty, with patience you should also be able to. If you are installing on a 1″ (26mm) bar and it seems the mounting screw is too short (it isn’t) be sure you have removed the spacer that comes inside the clamp for use with smaller handlebars. Also be sure the mirror is oriented properly so the nub on it fits down into the recess on the clamp; if you get it out of alignment the screw can’t go in.
This is a superior product which I’d give 6 stars if I could.

This tinted mirror is quality! It even comes with the hex key (Allen wrench) needed for installation. There are two points of angle adjustment for perfect viewing. Would make a great gift for your biking enthusiast!

It has been 3 years, and still works perfect. (2026 now). Probably the best useful accessory I have added to my bikes.

I’ve just installed this and only done test rides to position it, so haven’t used it for any long bike rides yet. I will update review when I have used it for a few rides. My first impression is that it is a little short, and sometimes I mostly see my arm in the way. I have it placed on the handlebars right up against the handlebar grip so I can’t move it any further to the outside of my handlebars to keep from seeing my arm while riding. It does not wobble as others have complained but maybe that’s just because I tightened mine down pretty tightly. Overall it seems fairly well suited for my Gazelle electric bike but I did have to loosen and move the computer on the handle bars to get the mirror placed right up against the grip. Then moved the computer right back and tightened it back down. I’m not sure how much difference the antiglare blue tinted lens will make it’s been cloudy sincere installing it and I don’t intend to ride much at night. But glare from the sun can be a problem with mirrors I’ve had in the past so I thought I’d try it. I haven’t seen any other bike mirrors online that seemed like they would be longer to advoid seeing your left arm while riding, but just turning your handlebars very slightly gives me the view I need to check for cars. Since I am not constantly looking at mirror while riding my bike, I think it will work for what I need it for.

This would work well with a bike that allows you to mount it flush with the inside of the handle grip. However, my ebike has several things on the bar, horn, display controller, brakes, etc. Not enough real estate on the bar, and if not mounted at the very closest to the end of the bar, this mirror doesn’t extend far enough. You can use it, but will get your shoulder/arm in your views.
I had to resort to getting a extension second bar that attaches to my primary handlebar. I extended that all the way to the left and put mirror on very end, and now it functions well. However this extension bar isn’t super stable, so I get a lot of vibration with the mirror, but it still serves its purpose.
The glass in the mirror is very good quality and provides a good view.
The mounting is simple and when tightened, it does stay in place well.

Best accessory for my bike. Spend the extra to get the anti-glare, it’s worth it. With this mirror I can see everything behind me. So much better when biking. If this breaks I will definitely be repurchasing. Can’t ride without it. Easy to assemble and sturdy on my bike.

I started riding about 2 years ago and ride about 120 miles a month. On solo rides, I used to find myself relying solely on my hearing for things happening behind me.. not always possible to glance back. Unprotected left turns is when I always realize I should have looked. On rides with kids, I am extra alert because they don’t stay in the bike lane.. I’m always looking over my shoulder.
I first mounted this mirror so it was above my handlebar.. it was fine but for whatever reason, glancing at it wasn’t comfortable. I then changed the mounting so the mirror would be below my handlebar. This is an awesome position for me – looking at the mirror comes easier for me with the way I move.
The mirror itself is very good quality – the reflective surface is great, visibility is excellent and it doesn’t come loose. I do maintain my bike well – as part of this, I tighten the mounting screw and the mirror swivel screw monthly.
Overall, I would highly recommend this. I feel a lot more comfortable riding with this.. especially when riding with kids.

This was a great buy! Excellent field of view behind me. Glare and vibration are no issue. Installation was fast and easy. This mirror does feel robustly built. As others mentioned, the initial angle adjustment does take a little bit of time. Test it out on hills and bends in the road to make sure you have it positioned where you need it. Once you’ve got that dialed in you lock it down and it doesn’t move. Asking myself why I ever rode without a mirror before. It’s awesome.

We all know there are a lot of of these phone mounts being sold on the Internet. I bought this particular, one solely based on the rating and there being over 19,000 reviews. I would definitely recommend this mount and thanks to the community for helping me make the decision to buy this.

This mirror really surprised me! I was looking for a relatively inexpensive rear view mirror for safety/convenience purposes while riding my ebike, as I use it for both recreational riding and food delivery. After looking at a few cheaper mirrors (around the $15 mark), I noticed that many of them looked pretty cheaply made, were not very attractive, and I wasn’t confident in their ability to stay in place whilst riding off-road. This one checked all those boxes by being built sturdy (I believe it’s made of alloy), looking sleek, and having the all-important feature of being able to cinch down the mirror separately from the shaft as tight or loose as you would like to prevent it from rattling out of position. I have it cinched down, and it has literally not moved a millimeter since even after riding on gravel roads, through grass and even some light woods trails. I keep expecting to look down and see it moved out of place, but am constantly surprised that it stays exactly where I set it. The glass looks quite premium with its blue tint and does not glare at all. Overall, the sort of “eye” shape of the mirror adds a cool flare to the look of my Rattan LM750. It’s kind of like my ebike is wearing sunglasses now! My only gripe was the installation took longer than expected due to the small piece that the shaft fits in having to be set in the correct orientation. Also, I tried installing it under the bars just to experiment and, at least for my bike/posture, it would be mostly useless down there. That’s fine since I had originally planned to use it on top of the bars anyways and I feel it looks better there. Overall I would buy this mirror again and again for any bike that I felt needed one. If you’re looking for a great mirror tor on the fence about this one, I would say you won’t be disappointed with your purchase!

It mounted easily, it was as described and it has a nice profile. Over all a very nice mirror, and it certainly helps quite a bit, but I knocked off one star because the knuckle at the bar mount has no side-to-side adjustment as it is keyed in-place. Although that doesn’t mean it hampers my rear view by showing ‘a lot of shoulder’ because I’m not a very big guy, but it could be an issue for guys who have bigger frames. However, I would buy this again.

This is worth the money compared to other bicycle mirrors, but still very reasonably priced. The nylon arm is strong and sturdy and attaches securely using an aluminum clamp attached via 5 mm hex screw into metal threads. (this tool not provided, so be sure you have this) I have a standard diameter handle bar (22.2 mm) and used the included spacer but check description for other handle bar diameters (slightly larger or smaller) for what you may have – it will very likely fit with or without the spacer. The adjustment ball for the mirror rotates snuggly in the nylon mount while still staying in position and you can tighten or loosen the 5 mm hex screw as needed. No need to overtighten as you want to keep it partially loose for adjustments to your riding positions. I love the stability of the solid nylon arm compared to the flexibility and long but unnecessary (even ugly) extensions (and related extra vibrations) provided by mirrors on flexible rods. The flat, more rectangular glass mirror is a plus (very clear, realistic view) vs. the distortions found using convex round mirrors. Since my concern is for traffic on the left side, only one mirror is needed.
I moved my eBike control panel slightly to mount the clamp right next to grip. The clamp is 1/2 inch wide. See photos. It was a very quick, easy install. Instructions printed on the side of the box it came in. Needed actions are self-evident.
I was concerned that the mirror would not extend far enough for a good rear view or the mount would not provide clearance allowed for my hand on the grip, but this was not a problem. See photos. However, I give 4 stars instead of 5 because it would be better if the mirror was about 1 inch longer and 1/2 inch wider to give a larger field of vision. This type of concern is likely very common for bike mirrors but one that could be cheaply resolved in the future.
I highly recommend this mirror. Please use a mirror for bike safety. The life you save will be your own!

I have been using this mirror on my e-bike for several months now, and I am very happy with it. The mirror stays put and doesn’t flop around like others I previously had. I keep it on the underside of my left handlebar and can see traffic behind me with no problems. Highly recommend.

I do most of my biking in Rails-to Trails. For the last few years I have used a helmet mounted rear view mirror when biking. The problem with helmet mirrors is that it demands that I swivel/turn/move my head to just the right position in order to get a clear view of what is behind me. I got tired of having to do so much maneuvering just to check the rear!
So I did some research, read the reviews and took a chance on this mirror. What a difference now!
I mounted it on the left side and above the handle bar, in the horizontal orientation. I took my first ride with the new mirror yesterday. All I need to do now is simply move my eyes to the left and I get a clear view of what and who is behind me. The fact that it is a wide mirror (for its size) means I get a very good look at a wide area in the back! I found myself checking the rear more often than I would with the helmet mirror. It has added a measure of safety to my riding.
One of my pet peeves when biking are the “marathon” bikers that appear out of nowhere, seemingly trying to break some kind of speed record. One moment there are nowhere to be seen and the next they are passing you at the speed of light! Most of them don’t even have the courtesy of giving a verbal and/or bell warning of their approach! This mirror now allows me to be on the lookout for those kamikaze riders.
So yes, I highly, highly recommend this mirror. I read in some of the reviews that is tends to get loose. That should not be a big concern since it comes equipped with an Allen wrench to tighten the 2 screws.
For those of you that do a lot of street riding, installing 2 mirrors, one on each side, should give you clear and wide area view when riding in traffic. Safe biking and happy trails!

– big field of view
– adjusting the mirror does not gradually loosen or wear down any screws
– you can fold the mirror away so that doesn’t get jammed when you are putting your bike into a locker or any other tight space

Superb product with 3 big advantages over many other mirrors:
– big field of view
– adjusting the mirror does not gradually loosen or wear down any screws
– you can fold the mirror away so that doesn’t get jammed when you are putting your bike into a locker or any other tight space

I have been using this mirror on my e-bike for several months now, and I am very happy with it. The mirror stays put and doesn’t flop around like others I previously had. I keep it on the underside of my left handlebar and can see traffic behind me with no problems. Highly recommend.
