I’m happy with these. I had a pair of Sealskinz that I loved for biking but have finally gotten worn down, I bought a newer pair of Sealskinz on Amazon but the fit wasn’t right anymore (fingers way too long – I couldn’t even shift gears on my bike). Anyway, returned those and decided to take a chance on these, the fit is right on and they feel durable so far. For the price, I couldn’t ask for much more.

So far, I’ve been riding ~40 degrees (F) or so and it’s been fine, I think even colder would be fine but haven’t tested myself yet.

These are decent gloves for riding in temps down to about 40 degrees. Given that the lining is just fleece they are not warm enough for freezing temperatures. They are pretty windproof and do have a good grip to them. The cuffs are pretty long, but not bulky. I am usually between a medium and large in gloves. I got these in a large and I would say they fit more like a medium. so I recommend sizing up.

  4. UTBadger –

Nice gloves, fit very well for me. I have slim long fingers and bought XXL

  5. Rich B. –

Gloves work OK, but aren’t great! I ;ive in San Diego, and use these for early morning rides. I wanted something that could keep my hands warm – and dry – on cool rides in temp from the low 40’s to around 50 degrees F. My fingers are cold below around 45 F. ABove that, my hands sweat, and the linings get very moist, so that if I take them off for a break, it is very difficult to get them back on, especially the cuffs.

Also, the touch pads don’t work very well. So – they get a very average score. My old HEAD gloves were much better but aren’t avaialable any longer.

  6. henry –

Good gloves for moderate winter use. I do commute by bike all year round, and these gloves keep me comfortable. I love the gel and overall fit. From an earlier bought similar pair I know they are very durable.

  7. Daniel L. Kasuboski –

Worked well in the cooler winter weather. Touchscreen didn’t work the best but for the value the are comfortable and fits as expected

  8. Jared fa Sho –

Fit well, nice and warm around 30 degree riding seems totally fine

  9. Biker –

  10. Bibliophile –

I ordered these winter cycling gloves because I needed an XS and that size wasn’t available locally. These gloves are warm, comfortable, have great grip and padding for cycling. I haven’t tested the touch screen feature, so can’t speak to that. I am very please with my purchase.

This is what I was looking for in terms of it being breathable and not water proof. My hand is a Medium close to large . I bought the large , thinking I could use a liner glove , but the insulation takes up a good amount of space. They are not bulky gloves and fit snugly . It seems the large has longer fingers , so I have some room at the finger tips but snug around fingers . Love the stretchy cuffs , much better than useless Velcro closures . Good in temps to low 40 F . I have tried them with a thin poly liner glove but , again fingers are a little constricted. The gel pad is in the right place for me and of a good size , so no complaints there. The grip, unfortunately is average not grippy. GRIP GRAB. I am keeping these and expect to get good use from them , next time I will try the medium. Road bike rider

  12. Swiss Dave –

Great winter gloves for cycling! They keep my fingers warm to as low as freezing. Would not recommend them in extremely low temps when cycling. Hiking/xc skiing would probably be fine even down into the high 10’sF. The fit is great, once they are on, inside doesn’t separate from the outer layer, grip and cushioning are perfect.

  17. Zig –

I like these gloves a lot. The workmanship is high-quality, they are comfortable, the padding is nice, and they grip well. My problem is, I was walking on a windy day and my hands were freezing cold. These gloves are not windproof. Keep that in mind as you consider your purchase.

  18. Amazon Customer –

Only fairly good at < 40 degrees F

  19. Aaron –

Ideal for winter cycling, both MTB and road. Not too bulky, perfect fit for me, but my hands are not your hands. Great for normal width hands with longer fingers. If you’re tall but not big, these may be the gloves for you.

I tried 5 different types/brands of gloves available on Amazon, and these definitely were not the cheapest, but they were the only pair I kept. They fit the best, great mobility, and warm.

No idea how these work in sub-32F temps because I don’t ride when it’s that cold.

  20. Michael H. –

    Fingertips still get cold…

  21. Michael Egeland –

Perfect mid weight gloves. Great for when light gloves are not enough, but still not cold enough for full winter gloves.

  22. Wilfried Kupers –

  25. Alison –

Ordered these in November and finally had a chance to test them twice in December in near freezing temps (32F-36F). The first test was a MTB trail ride and these were warm for the entire ride back in the woods at relatively slow speeds and low wind. I didn’t notice my hands getting cold at all. The second test was a road ride, again around 34F. These were OK for about the first hour of riding, but I noticed my hands getting pretty cold and numb after nearly two hours. Like others have said, you probably need to resort to bar mitts for near or below freezing temps to keep the hands comfy. For road riding, to me these would be about perfect for 40-50F. Fit and construction quality seem good. I only give these 4 of 5 stars as I feel like they could have been just a tad warmer.

  26. Doug –

I use these as normal gloves when I drive, they’re a bit wrong for that. But for biking or outside activities with wind? Awesome.

    Biking:
The gloves are part of my winter commute tools. They legitimately block wind, on top at least, as I noticed when I dry them on the glove rack after. Winter commuting in Minnesota means subzero Fahrenheit weather, and I angered Mother Nature early in life so I usually get strong headwinds. I wear these INSIDE the Bar Mitts 6mm extreme cold pogies, but the gloves won’t help folks with cold hands caused by circulation issues. The cold metal slowly chills my fingers over the ride home since my poor bike gets stuck in an unheated indoor area and it’s not a long enough ride to rewarm the handlebars. Pulling a hand out to swipe my nose means no extra cold getting into my fingers.

My experience with heavy winds a few weeks ago gave a great test for:

Grip: Excellent, doesn’t slip off hoods inside pogies, haven’t been on bar tape yet, but I’m primarily on the hoods anyway. Also helpful grabbing boxes of delivered goods.

Windpoof: Yep. Even when not stuffed into pogies, no cooling (-15 F) wind chill effect.

Nose wiper: Soft, fleece thumbs means softly dried nose. When nose not hidden in wool for survival.

Warmth: Meh. When I’m active, they’re okay. The pogies do the heavy lifting of warmth retention so the gloves would be warmer as mittens. But then it’s harder to shift. They don’t block the heat exchange between my palms and the cold hoods/handlebars, but I’m not uncomfortable. If you have a circulation issue, not these gloves. Consider diving mitts instead, thick neoprene with a mitten-like inside. Or electric gloves. That was my next choice if these hadn’t worked so well outside the pogies.

Padding: Nice, feels comfortable on the hoods, seems to be in the right spots.

Not a standalone winter outdoor heavier activity glove, but windproof, comfortable, visible, and grippy.

  27. Brian Curtis –

Keep my hands warm. Well made.

  28. Amazon Customer –

Great quality and padding is in the perfect places to protect hands and they keep your hands warm. A good buy and fits well.

  33. Reilly Gilbert –

Best wind resistance cycling gloves I have tried. Very comfortable, and fit snug around my hands without being too tight. The gel padding is in a great spot. The best part is I can use these gloves for cycling, running, or just during the winter! Very functional.

  34. Peter T Moen –

Comfortable but 40° and up is limit.

  35. Mary Martin –

Gloves are great! They fit well, and they keep my hands warm. Best purchase!

  36. Jimm –

Excellent fit and comfortable. The cushion padding and grip in the palms works very well as do the thumb tips for touch screen control.

  37. els van hoylandt –

    Goede pasvorm

  38. Madmomof2 –

These gloves are great. Just enough padding to make biking comfortable.

  39. Steve Peck –

These would’ve received five stars, except they do not have any fabric that will allow you to use your phone. How can a Biking glove in 2025 not have screen friendly fingertips?!? I will be returning.

  40. grclark50 –

Very firm feel when you put them on, a little tight but my hands are large. Solidly made

  41. Health Conscious Athlete –

I like the product. They are not as bulky as snow skiing gloves.

  44. Melissa –

I love these gloves! The quality, fit n pricing are spot on.
I usually wear them for cycling but I’ve been grabbing them for running as well.
They are waterproof n windproof, as described.

  45. Corvvi –

Overall nice fit and feel but not windproof so a bit cold for full on winter riding.

  48. David G –

I like the gloves . However , riding below 40 degrees my fingers still were cold.

  49. dpeniuk –

I should’ve heeded the reviews of a couple of other’s on these gloves. These gloves are warm and quite comfortable…as long as they are not used for mountain biking. The palm gel bump does not allow you to properly and comfortably hold on to your handlebar grips. Further, because of the stuffing (to keep the gloves warm), my hands moved around while holding the handlebars. Not safe while mtn biking.

So – if you want them for hiking or winter walking, great! Hands were nice and warm at 42 degrees. But do NOT buy for mountain biking.

  50. Pascal –

Sehr guter Handschuh!

  51. Robert C. Evans –

Fit great and lived up to the billing, they grip fantastic.

  52. A B C D –

These gloves have been great! Surprisingly warm for how thin they are. 20 minute commute to work and my hands are comfy down to about 20FF – below that and I have to break out the heavier mittens. For longer rides (2-3hrs) these have been solid down to about 30F. Suspect they’ll be fine up to about 50F.

  53. Martin –

Did not keep me warm at all.

  54. Amazon Kunde –

+ Gute Passform, nicht zu dick
    + Sauber verarbeitet
    + Farbe wie abgebildet
    + Warm bis 3 Grad
    + Guter Antirutsch im Handinneren

  55. Gary Slaby –

They are warm and seem to be well made. I would buy them again

  56. AC Reed –

Not able to use touchscreen on phone or bike computer with thumb or any fingers. Makes riding useless when you have to stop, take off our glove, tap your screen on bike computer, put glove back on and resume riding. The ‘Ask Rufus’ description is wrong, the thumb does not work on touch screens.

  57. Restless –

Exceeded all my expectations. Warm and snug fitting gloves. No more frozen fingers. I used it at mid 30s (F). Didn’t try them on a long ride (over 24 miles). So far, i love them. I bought size large and it fit me perfectly.

  23. Beth B.

  24. Motrieux –

Keep my hands warm. Well made.

Great quality and padding is in the perfect places to protect hands and they keep your hands warm. A good buy and fits well.

  31. S. Schmohl –

These are great gloves until Temps get below 40 then, I suggest to into a lobster glove.

  32. João –

Good gloves for moderate winter use. I do commute by bike all year round, and these gloves keep me comfortable. I love the gel and overall fit. From an earlier bought similar pair I know they are very durable.

  42. Francois M –

    Super qualité !

  43. chris wright –

Good quality windstopper gloves lovely snug fit nice extended cuff to put over base layer & put your cycling long sleeved jersey or jacket over the top . Value for money would recommend

  46. Pojemniki –
