After just a few days the seam on the side of the index finger of the right hand started to separate along the perforated fabric. These are designed just a little too lightweight for my expectations of durability. I may get another week or two of use out of these before the seam completely separates.
For size large, the fit is also very much on the tight side. It fits, but very snug. The lack of any loops or velcro closure on the cuff makes it more difficult than other gloves to put on. There is zero padding, but that was expected from the descripton. They are just a tiny bit of extra protection. I doubt that they hold up to any serious abrasion on a road surface in case of a fall. They are nice and grippy on the bar tape of my bike, though, so they still do have a function. I will use them on my indoor bike more than on the mountain bike or road bike where I could get in a situation where more protection than these gloves can provide is important.

I purchased these due to “pro” online reviews rated for best budget. i am fairly new to mtb riding so i thought i’d give these a try.
The touch screen “tips” on the gloves are okay. They function fair on my phone and a little subpar for my smart watch. Not bad but definitely not great as why i rated them at 3 stars.
The comfort is nice but like i said earlier i’m new to riding so for now they’re definitely the most comfy i’ve tried. my hands definitely don’t get sweaty and grip is great. Before i had these gloves my hands were sweaty and would almost rub off the grips off onto my hands. I did get the chance the ride in the rain and they performed great on wet handle bars!
I’ve only owned them for a few weeks so as far as durability they’re holding up fine. i bike about 10-15 miles twice a week.

Outstanding minimalist gloves. I mountain bike a lot and live in Boise, Idaho where it’s hot in the summer, so I need gloves that breathe really well for riding in the heat. These gloves are perfect, I love everything about them. I followed the sizing guide and the sizing is perfect. These are the best gloves I’ve had as far as working with the touch screen on my phone. I find I have to put my finger a little to the left of the letter I want to push, but I’ve always taken every other pair of gloves off to do anything on my phone, so these are great. Also the price is great on these. I went with the yellow and the color looks great too. Highly recommend for a breathable minimalist biking glove.

Returned immediately. Gloves were to tight, no adjusting band at the wrist, no cushion on the palms (for the handlebars), and started coming apart at the seams immediately. Very dissapointing, I’ve been an avid cyclist for years, I have always trusted Giro, but this is below the standard.

They fit well, but the build quality is below expectations. Logo letters have completely peeled off on the right hand and partially on the left, and the seams on both hands are slowly coming apart.
These gloves probably won’t last through the season.

I bought these in September of 2024 for mountain biking and have ridden in them for about 40 hours/275 miles. They’ve been through the wash machine several times in that timeframe. I ordered a large, and my hand circumfrence is right around 8″. I’m definitely right at the top end of the size chart for a large, but they fit me well, being quite tight, but not too tight. The touchscreen fingers do work, but the threads are starting to fray. No tears in the gloves fabric or leather. They’re comfortable to wear, warm enough in the winter, cool enough in the summer, and they were pretty inexpensive.
When these eventually wear out, I’ll almost certainly buy another pair!

Awesome gloves. Got a medium when I typically wear a large in most types of rubber/winter etc. gloves and they fit great. Want a tighter glove for MTB. They seem a little short on the inside wrist but I’m a pretty new mountain biker and they perform excellently.

These were a surprise. And turned out to be Excellent summer mtb gloves. Keep my sweaty hand from slipping around. They breathe great, they are light weight and have held up surprisingly well. I have gone down a few times and the gloves are fine. I actually purchased a second pair for backup. If you need some lighter weight mtb gloves give these a try. Definitely recommend.

Been wearing the green ones on all rides this summer. $20 is a very good value.
Cons:
1. The green fades to teal and grimy brown, unevenly. Very minor quibble.
2. Material can be harsh on face skin if wiping sweat.
3. Tops of the gloves do not play nicely with the Velcro sisters, especially Loopy.
Pros:
1. Grip is rock solid, even with sweat and sunscreen drippings.
2. Comfortable 8/10 in 90 degree heat. My hands rarely feel moist.
3. Stitching is 10/10 solid. They’re tight on me, and I abuse them.
4. I wash them in warm water, warm dryer.
5. They play well with phone, 6/10 as good as a finger.

I have only used a couple times so durability review may come later. The finger pads are ok, I had to find the right spot in order to use my phone but that’s not a big concern for me. The XL gloves are tight as they should be but recommend to go up a size even after following the size chart.

I like how these gloves feel and they actually don’t have a lot of extra finger length flopping around. Only problem is one is starting to split after a dozen or so tame road rides. I have a couple pairs of gloves from another G brand that are over 10 years old each and still holding up. I would expect at least one year much less 7 weeks.

Over the fit is perfect. But unfortunately the stitching on the right glove start ripping upon fitting them onto my hand. Other than that i do like the feel of them. You retain dexterity and can be use with a touch screen. Maybe i got a lemon based on the reviews but overall decent glove. Will try to get a replacement and see if its any different. Just recieved them today so its a shame they ripped so easily

I bought these for sim racing on PC because they were breathable, lightweight, touch screen compatible, slim profile/short length, and very grippy. The wheel I use for sim racing is suede and these gloves work perfectly. I really like the lack of straps or velcro, and that they are easy to quickly remove. The dexterity is pretty solid too, compared to legitimate automotive racing gloves, at least.

The worst part is they are a little short so the part around my wrist is a little far up on bottom of my palm which makes it constantly slightly annoying. I would buy these again but would probably size up.
