Not sure why I waited so many years to order one. Now I just wear a long sleeve shirt and a riding jacket.

Overall it’s a nice liner, however, the sleeves were extra short. I normally wear a large but I will need at least an XL to have proper sleeve length, make sure you plan accordingly.

You have to buy the controller and battery harness separately. Battery harness is easy to get on your bike. I thought I would goof up and buy not everything I needed, or too much, but I was set with the 3 items. I also purchased the heated gloves for later this fall. So you’ll need all three items, or four if you want the gloves.
This is a pretty good wind/rain resistant jacket in it’s own right, without heat. And you can just wear it without a padded jacket if that’s what you want to do. If I’m wearing one of my mesh jackets, which fit me the way I prefer vs my windproof jacket, underneath, I can stay warm and dry despite the mesh, upper 50’s and up. Any lower and then I plug it in and can stay warm from there. Then if I want just the mesh jacket as it warms, the liner can be stored away pretty compact for later in the midday heat.

Not only was I sent the wrong size form what I ordered. I was also sent the older version of the jacket and not the 2.0. Paid for a 2.0, sent an older one. Other wise I’ve always used and loved Gerbing… probably more of a Amazon problem.

I am a motor officer in the central midwest. I wear this under my uniform shirt and armor. If the streets are clear we ride into the 20 degree area. Gerbing makes these days tolerable. You pay for a very good product.

I have the older Gerbing Jacket and have been using it for 12 years and it still works perfectly. I gave it to a friend. The newer versions are a bit nicer, and I needed a new Jacket because old jacket no longer fit me.
These Jackets are sized correctly. You don’t want the Jacket hanging loose. Just slightly snug and comfortable. I ride with just a thin shirt under Gerbing Jacket, and then a regular riding jacket over it. Man do you stay warm. Cars are buzzing by be and I am sure they are thinking, That poor Motorcycle Rider is Freezing. But I am probably warmer than they are.
I would recommend Gerbing to everyone.
Note: If you get accessories for your Jacket, be careful on what you buy. A lot of time the connector ends of electrical splitters, wires, etc. are not the correct size. If you buy Gerbing accessories, they are always the correct product for 12 volt DC items.
