Sizing seems a little small. An extra large work glove (like a leather Wells Lamont) usually fits my hand. I ordered an XL and it was really tight. It was comfortable once on but was very difficult to take off. I ordered a XXL and it too is tight. Again, it is comfortable when on but it is also a little difficult to remove, especially with a little moisture from sweating. I previously used Voler gloves in size XL and they were a perfect fit.

– love the velcro closure, makes it much easier to put these on and take them off.
– doesn’t have any sort of absorbent material on the thumb for wiping your eyes
– they run crazy small – I have small hands (9″ around the palm, widest part not including thumb) – the XL is a snug fit.

This particular Castelli glove is one of the best fitting and comfortable bike gloves I have ever used. I have been road and gravel biking for over 25 years.
Serious bikers need gloves and other apparel to fit well, be reasonably comfortable, and hold up to the rigors of continued use without wearing out too soon. As always, salt deposits from sweating degrade fabrics, so hand wash any biking apparel in mild soapy water.
While I am not a triathlete, I do ride a couple of times a week for 20-30 miles at a time and sometimes longer. So, for 2-3 hours of riding, I want gloves that do not feel like I just survived a hand torture test.
It is comfortable to wear particularly against the webbing between the fingers. The top side mesh fabric wicks moisture well.
The palm grips provide reasonably good gripping power and sufficient resistance to the constant vibrations of road surfaces, which is beneficial for reducing irritation of the carpal tunnel nerve and the median nerve in general.
The velcro closure straps are reinforced and easy to use.
The thumb has a microsuede area for wiping your nose, (which is a common occurrence when riding due to irritation of the nasal mucosa from wind and airborne irritants.)
There is not a wide variety of glove colors, but the two toned colors are well designed with crisp logo accents.
While costing more than the average biking glove, quality materials and workmanship are priceless, so the value is well worth the cost.

The rubber stripes on the palm were a day saver when my friend couldn’t get his stubborn tire back on the wheel. I was able to pop the last section of wheel back on with no issue using the rubber section. Other than that, they have been great over the summer.

Only problem with the Castelli brand is it’s so EXPENSIVE. These gloves were on sale at a very reasonable price. The quality is excellent t and the padding is just right. I buy size large in fingerless gloves and these fit just the way I like.

The seam by the right thumb is on the exact spot that you hold the handlebar so it puts pressure on the thenar web space. Makes it hurt. Need to move the seam like on the left hand glove. Left glove is perfect

Felt the glove could be 5 star if fingers were .5 to 1 cm longer. Feel that it would then cover the middle knuckle to provide some protection in a fall and mild compression for finger health whenever used. Otherwise, am generally happy with these.
Update: After 2-1/2 years of use, the glove itself is generally still in good condition except for the cushioning and the Velcro closure. The narrow tip on the Velcro strap is a design error as this just doesn’t stick well with age. The CDS cushion seems fine, but all the others seem flattened. When using, am now getting pain in the left-hand palm near the wrist, where in-use pressure is greatest. This is making the gloves nearly worthless. The foam cushioning material in the glove needs to be improved before it would be viable for re-purchase. The cushions did not survive the glove itself.
