Fits on my bike great and holds both my new and old rods perfectly. My old rod is a 5’7″ spincaster, and my new one is a 7′ spinning rod, and the holder secures both of them without any issues.

The top of the walking stick is thicker and has a paracord hand wrap that is just a series of knots that spiral around the stick. I place the top of the stick into the holder and simply screw/twist it into the holder. Nice an firm hold on the stick and it is completely out of sight in my mirrors. If you need walking assistance and still ride, I would urge you to get this product and give it a shot.
I am happy with this product and will buy another for my other motorcycle.

Pretty solid, they do not clamp to the bars on the bike basket as I had hoped. They will clamp the the larger rear triangle bar of most old school bikes but the clamps are too large to fit as I had intended. Still a solid product.

Bough for boys to fish when we go glamping. They have 6 foot, and 5 foot rods. I take my time and took me 20 minutes to install. Someone can prob do in 10 minutes. It’s mainly stable, very durable and will last for years I hope. One bike had a tilt so I added rubber bands. Overall recommend.
